Lol I love how everyone stopped talking about Captain Toad, just really goes to show the game was really being overhyped when it was nothing more then just DLC for Super Mario 3D World at a full price. Man am I glad I skipped out on that game, I'll wait for it to hit the bargain bin.

I like it, the Vita version is pretty much an exact port, while the 3DS version has updated mechanics like crouch-walking, and over the shoulder aiming while moving etc. so depends on what you want. It plays great though on both devices though.

I did play the demo for MGS 3D but I think I'm leaning more towards the VITA port simply because it comes with MGS 2 as well, and you can get MGS 1 off PSN, so you can get the complete Metal Gear Collection on there, man I really need a VITA.

I guess my irkiness for Captain Toad was how ridiculously overhyped it was being personally.

Ah yeah that's a fair point about getting 2 as well, although to be honest these games are definitely meant for the big screen anyway, not a handheld.

Not MGS4 or Ground Zeroes, so not complete, although you do get the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 with MGS3

I'd strongly suggest reconsidering that statement before purchase: if you like the indie titles then go for it, if not, then you'll find it a bit bare.

Complete Metal Gear Solid Trilogy I mean to say. Also I do enjoy indie titles but what makes me currently want a vita is the ports it has that I'd love to play on the go, Rayman Legends, Sly, Jak, etc.

I did play Mgs2, 3 and Peacewalker in the HD collection so I'm willing to buy again for Vita since I loved it so much.

(Speaking of GZ that comes out on steam in a day, so I'm hyped)

On topic, I'm on the fence on what model to get when the Nintendo 3DS Plus releases, the normal size or the XL? I really like the normal 3DS +'s button colors, but I think the XL's size wouldn't cramp my hands that much.

I'd go for the New XL, colourful buttons are nice, but having a larger screen and form-factor for play comes out as a bigger priority for me.

The New 3DS is definitely more comfortable than the old one, by a long shot. It has a slightly bigger form factor and screens, and the edges are rounded like the XL, but the XL still wins in overall comfortability simply because it's bigger.

Cover plates are sweet though and the snes buttons are nice too.

The Rayman Legends music here couldn't be any more fitting
