Yeah, making plans is hard, < can get that. Normally if < does smth for a birthday it's usually just a casual hangout, not a whole event

Usually his parents come over and make plans but they bailed for unknown reasons.

< doesn't actually, < will only really listen to music if < needs to concentrate on something, like when driving on my own or with work or personal projects

< never does anything for <'s birthday. Actually < is gonna be thirty this year, but still doesn't feel the need to do anything

< can relate. < has started to skip <'s birthday since <'s 18th birthday since nobody was ever there (the following day is always a bank holiday, generally completes a big weekend).

But <'s group of friend of american football insisted to do something since a few years.

< supposes birthdays kinda lose their sheen when you're an adult, though they do make a good excuse to get together, but everyone's also got their own thing going on
