At the risk of sounding like certain people, < realises that the recent RD has caused < to surpass Reese and ^. Even though < doesn't care about being the winner, < admits that < was motivated this time in regards to certain comments. < knows it's a rather dumb and petty reason but < had to defend <'s honor.

It dawned on < today that < has been a staff member here for the best part of a decade. That's so weird…

The feeling is mutual, < has actually been one for 6 years or so at this point? < is sure that < got appointed in 2019, and became global in 2020.

Now that < think about it, ^ went from a moderator to global moderator rather quickly, < assumes to make room for <. It's weird how < would switch between wanting and not wanting to be a mod, and even in <'s first year < thought < wasn't going to last this long. Yet now < has been one for nearly half a decade. <'s glad <'s doing what < can for the site.

< can't believe how long it feels since < retired from the role, < has to commend ^ and ^^ for sticking with it for so long

As < recalls, Reese retired, so < took over as admin, then Steo took <'s role as global mod, and you came in as the English moderator! < actually went from a mod in 2017 to a global mod in 2018 and to admin in 2019, but it felt considerably longer than all <'s adminning years since, because < went through quite a few life changes during those years too! Well, now <'s life is changing again, but there's no further to go up the ladder here

If < had it again, < would rather only have about 14000 posts on here instead due to how < used to post so excessively and randomly. < likely only had about 4000 posts in the past 2-3 years. About 30000 of these posts probably happened within the first 3 years, mostly from random game thread shitposting.

Now that < think about it, ^ went from a moderator to global moderator rather quickly, < assumes to make room for <. It's weird how < would switch between wanting and not wanting to be a mod, and even in <'s first year < thought < wasn't going to last this long. < was also very surprised how quickly < got the global mod spot, it seemed to be only a few months later. < definitely should have been a little more active on some occasions as mentioned though, but < is glad to still have the position.

< also thinks that ^ is doing a good job. < does know that there were moments of being unsure for several reasons, but it's good that it ended up how it is now.

R4Y, Aaron and Birds (and maybe Plum, Ambi, and Ray502 to a lesser extent) also started talking more on here and we became the regular crowd for the time, even if was for the most part on random game threads. < had a really large amount of posts <'s first year too, before becoming much less active. Actually ^ was probably more active for a couple years after that before we switched roles. Now these days < is relatively more active while ^ still occasionally shows up. < thinks < would have only about 20000 posts if < was posting much more ethically <'s first few years.

Well I'm glad to know that at least my flaws and mistakes i've made make people happy too.
