… And yet I did

Nah, it's so absurd I almost can't explain it… Basically on my mother's old laptop, some of the plastic chassis cracked, causing the power connector to come loose. This made it impossible to connect the charger. I had previously opened the thing up and tried to duct tape the connector back in place, but it came loose again. So rather than opening the thing up again (which was an utter nightmare), I just used a hacksaw to completely remove part of the cracked plastic, exposing the connector to the outside and removing the need to duct tape it in place

Ah. I suppose that's the easiest solution to the problem, which according to GLaDOS, is usually the best solution xD

Tfw you wake up early but not early enough that trying to go back to sleep is viable.
