+ Completed 62% of Rayman Revolution and completed The Precipice, The Pirate Mines and The Echoing Caves today.
+ Got the Rain Mask as well.

+ the new pair of glasses i picked are awwwweesome
- they could take weeks to be ready because i have a very autistic perscription
+ warm bath successate today

- I got 2 terrible games for Christmas
+ But, I also got Burnout 3: Takedown for PS2 and it rocks! I love it!

+ Got GTSport Limited Edition and Please Please Me LP for Xmas

+ Yay, Christmas Day.
- I must admit, It is not as Good as the past Christmas days that I had
- Rayman Origins is appearing Sometime later After christmas. Maybe next week.
+ Will try to make the best of today, at least.
- Car is still not up and running.

- Feeling the pangs of itchiness again
- Running low on cortisone
- Not made as much progress on my individual project catch-up as I'd like
+ I've got time still, and barring that, the holidays have been nice

What do you mean how? Does it feel unethical for you to try playing a 16+ game before you're 16? Because age ratings don't mean that people under the written age shouldn't play them, it only means that it's up to the parents until you're that age, and if your dad got it for you, then that's completely within the scope of the age rating's intended purpose.

I not only didn't want to play the game because it was 16+, but rather because I hate shooting games. Plus, everything sucks about it. And I mean literally EVERYTHING. Take Burnout 3 for example, or Rayman Revolution. Those games are much better, mainly because they're fun. What do you do in a shooting game? Just shoot, shoot, shoot at the enemy. There's no variety in them.

I agree Medal of Honor is pretty lame, but what you just said is flat-out wrong. You've obviously never really played or understood a shooter before; in fact, I'd say that shooters are one of the most varied genres out there due to them relying on such a simple and accessible but flexible and addicting concept that anyone can grasp which, combined with the fact they're in first-person, creates the greatest link between ourselves and the player, leading to some of the most fast-paced and skillful gameplay around. The genre has existed all throughout time, from 1990 to today and has never dipped in popularity for a very good reason. Disregarding its merit is just as bad as if not worse than disregarding the platforming genre as a whole.

I know you're only thirteen and I had my fair share of irrational biases back then too, but you really have to be a little more honest in your approach to criticising one of the pioneering video game genres!

I actually did play a shooting game before (it was TF2) but I really don't like blood and gore in video games (I know blood is a natural thing in real life). I prefer the adventure/platformer and racing genre more than the FPS shooting genre.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

+ There was a new episode of Robot Wars on today. Had no idea, so was taken by surprise.
- Missed the first half of the episode, kinda spoils the flow when you know how it end.
