Well, < is going to try some coffee... < is super tired and isn't functioning right
< wonders if ^ will go for anything specific, coffee wise, or just go with traditional coffee?

< just went with coffee + milk. Worst mistake ever
< still drank it all, and got pretty wired... < can definitely see why people drink it now

< used to drink an excessive amount of coffee as a teen. < was only drinking instant coffee back then though and < eventually started to become spoiled once < tasted it from a coffee machine in Sweden. <'s brother bought an expensive machine that can make several different types, including cappuccino. < was making one called "café au lait" most often.

All these years and < still hasn't drank coffee outside the odd taste test. <'s a tea drinker any day. Though < only tends to drink tea on busier days, otherwise <'s purely on cold water and the odd fizzy drink.

< drinks a lot of tea normally, definitely more often than coffee. < does like coffee too though, if only it wasn't for those GI issues, < would drink it far more often.

<’s more of a tea enjoyer

< used to drink fizzy drinks a lot as a kid. These days < has gotten used to drinking water and tea instead, though < wouldn’t mind having coffee or a fizzy drink on occasion.

< Likes fizzy drinks at restaurants, but < rarely has ‘em at home. Meanwhile <‘s going through abnormal amounts of water per day.

< wonders what an "abnormal" amount is. < thinks it's likely you're doing the right thing, staying hydrated, and everyone else isn't taking care of themselves so well!

< knows that people are supposed to drink 2 litres of water per day, but barely anyone does that.

< drinks about twelve cups of tea a day (but half of those are decaf). < reckons that comes to about two litres…

< does drink a fair amount of tea most days actually, though not really as much decaf. < was drinking plenty of decaf around 2018.

< is likely pretty dehydrated most days, since <'s not getting enough water each day....< doesn't think 2 bottles of water (which is probably only 4 cups) is enough.

Speaking of hydration, < just remembered how < had to get fluids intravenously back in June because < kept throwing up whatever < drank after anesthesia wore off…

Urgh, that doesn't sound pleasant in the slightest, < hopes it wasn't anything too serious? At any rate, <'s glad it sounds like ^ recovered.

Ewww, that sounds terrible! < wonders if ^^ drank something like Pedialyte or some other electrolyte-enhanced drink at that time? < has heard that throwing up or having d******* causes a person to lose electrolytes along with water.

< remembers this happened to <'s sister at one point where she just randomly got sick and kept throwing up for well over 24 hours. Definitely doesn't sound pleasant.
EDIT: < means them needing to be put on a drip.

Nah, < says it was due to general anesthesia. Nothing too serious

Yeah, < “drank” (more specifically, given via IV drip) Plasmalyte. Once that run out < was given 0.9% NaCl

It's a well trodden complaint at this point, but it does bother < immensely having to parse "ahh" as "ass." < gets euphemisms, but this one bothers < particularly because it's not as easy to suss out sometimes.

At least it's not like <, where you type "ass" when you don't mean to.

I guess I love repairing stuff and playing Rayman, Mario or retro games. I also like to joke about so I never mean anything ass offensive when I say something silly in a thread
