< hasn't played GMod in like fifteen years. < kinda does a double-take every time < hears about, as in "wait, that's still a thing?"
< is glad ye're enjoying it anyway!
< hadn't even played it before, < was a CS person back then. It was a lot of fun to just mess about with of course. Some funny things happened in it, and it showed its age by a map having an Apple store that advertised the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4.
The engines those games used were just fun to mess about with.
___
Also there is this great new one nobody ever came up with before, it's called "Shitbox Moment".

< does love the Source Engine! < used to do some Source modding but unfortunately hasn't been able to find the headspace to get back to it properly for the last ten years...

Oh yeah < definitely finds it a lot of fun to play around with. < hasn't even played anything like this in years either. < was just in a VC yesterday on Discord and <'s friend started playing gmod, so < decided to just join in and play it too. < just mostly remembers having fun on custom CS maps back in the day anyway.

< has nothing planned, but since < lives in the big city now < might just wander off and celebrate with the crowd.
Or maybe < will go to bed at 9:30. Equally as likely.

< finds it bizarre that ^^ is getting a "day off work" for new years, when many people here get two whole weeks off work around Christmas...

< Knows some factories around here do shut down for a week or two anyway. Service industry doesn't get that luxury.

< says fair enough, as a society we do expect an awful lot of our service industry workers!

It has become the most likely for < since < fell terribly sick. What a shame.
< meds took the whole day to have effects, therefore < just woke up at 10PM.
Also <'s bedframe has not been delivered as it was scheduled, therefore <, after two difficult nights sleeping on the couch, but the mattress on the floor of the living room.
Maybe < will remake some old drawing to catch sleep again, but first < will eat a few thing and drink some tea. Meds are kicking, therefore < is hungry.

< Just got back from skiing in Wisconsin with a couple friends... Only to immediately go out skiing in a different resort in Wisconsin with <'s family. Not that < minds, skiing is amazing!
< Also learnt how to ski backwards, and < even went down a blue square backwards! < Also finally built the courage to go down a double black diamond, which suprisingly, was not that bad! Every resort in the midwest is a lot easier than the ones out west, or in Europe though (a black diamond around here is like an easy blue square elsewhere), but < is proud regardless!

< Is also happy about tomorrow's day off, but < has to do a presentation for a class and < really doesn't want to do that so < will complain and curse tomorrow < has no other choice but to do it tomorrow to not screw up

< never thought when < handed over the Survey to ^ all those years ago that it'd last as long and ^ would still be at the helm. < would like to commend ^ for running it for so long.
< has noticed the snow behaves slightly differently than < remembers, it used to change tilt depending on the user's cursor position. This year's seems to be indifferent. < wonders if the snow implementation is different?
