< thinks that <'s throat and sinuses are getting better, but for some reason <'s stomach has been weird for the past couple days.

< Got braces. It hurts to chew. That's about it.

Honestly from what < remembers, that was one of the least unpleasant parts of braces. < Can still feel the scars in <'s mouth where the wire rubbed against <'s cheeks.

And <'s braces were taken out well over a decade ago.

Do they still give numbing wax for braces?

Yep! Although < is definitely worried about the scarring part... What a joy!

< just checked and yep, < also has some scarring just from the bands that the braces would be anchored to, which sat in <'s mouth for years after < decided not to go ahead with the braces themselves

< remembers not wanting braces when < had the option. Maybe < should have gotten them at the time and had straighter teeth now, but < isn't going to pay ridiculous money to get them at this age.

A lady ghosted < on a dating app after two weeks of discussion, therefore < took her feminist OC and turned her into a pinup.

< suspects that this makes < an asshole.

< won't lie, ^'s actions < does find quite amusing.


It would seem < is in for some very cold weather coming up, especially this weekend.

Sounds like < could be in for even more snow than originally predicted, by the look of things. Yikes, the majority of the US is gonna be slammed.

< decided to buy a Ryzen 9 9950X3D. It's not like <'s 9700X isn't already more than good enough, it's more like a "why not" moment.

<'s job hunt has been going good so far, as < got an interview at a local grocery store! <'s been needing to start saving for college, since college tuition in the US is... Certainly something, so < is happy that funding part time work hasn't been too bad.

< remembers that a classmate from high school went to study in the United States and heard that this guy's mother had to remortgage her house a couple of times in order to pay for his studies there . It's because of things like this that, even though sometimes it pisses < off to pay taxes, < knows that things like this, or even healthcare, won't mean having to sell organs...
