< can't sleep properly. For the moment < felt sleepy but then < stopped. < hopes < falls asleep though since sleep is important AND good despite nightmares, which are quite rare to <. < loves dreams and would like to collect some like before... :D

< finally finished Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2 in the US) on stream. My god it was a tedious as < remembered it

< is also aghast that nobody tried the question in the videogame knowledge quiz. < was certain it would be found instantly.

< would gladly link you to <'s stream there < discussed this at length, but since it's in french...

Dark Cloud is one of <'s favorite. < thinks it has a lot of charm, but it has also a lot better pacing, ambiance and quality of life than Dark Chronicle can ever hope to have, which for < translated to petty niggles all throughout the game, which is very long.

Granted, it is very long because it has a lot to offer, it's very deep and it's intended target will have a field day with it, but < is not part of said public. < doesn't like the anime vibe, < doesn't like the naive plot that goes haywire at the end, and < definitely hated the plot twist.

That being said, <'s love of Dark Cloud stems from 20 years ago, and the game definitely has it's shortcomings, so it's possible that < would have disliked it if tried for the first time today. But < still thinks it has a lot of charm.

(And then, on stream, we digressed over Naruto Shippuden and Bleach, but that's off topic)

< wishes < could speak French. The approach to teaching it in school was so awful, just really, really bad. So < hated it, despite that when < actually visited France, < was so inspired by the culture, buildings and people.

< ended up teaching <self Japanese instead and recently translated games under the guidance of Jeremy Blaustein, who is the translator of Dark Chronicle.

< says that, as somebody who is fluent in a language that is neither your mother tongue nor the national language, you are already doing better than 97% of your fellow countrymen.

< confirms. Especially for french who is 5% rules and 95% exceptions. < struggles to see how somebody would teach such a language without just dumping everybody in specific roleplays.

< got back from Lovy's bachelor party yesterday.
< enjoyed it a lot but < is glad it's over! < was one of the two organizers and it was a lot of work.
< visited Bulgaria for the first time in the process. Nice place!

< just realized the arrows are meant to be facing left...

< had a nice day yesterday. < went on <'s electric scooter and did a whole buncha fun stuff.

Although, < wasn't very happy that < couldn't go very fast after <'s accident a week ago or so. Basically, < went too fast whilst turning and flew off the bike. At the time, it didn't hurt, but a couple days later, < was super sore. < guesses that should teach < a lesson for next time.

< is pondering what game to play on stream tomorrow.

< hesitates between Rayman 3 GBA, German with Rayman or test the new features of Overwatch.

< says you were technically correct to use right-facing arrows, because our profiles are to the right of our posts. The reason everyone is using left-facing arrows is because profiles used to be on the left, until we upgraded the site to phpBB3 in 2007. I think a lot of people complained about this new layout back then! Regardless, we kept the tradition of using left-facing arrows.

< says German with Rayman but only if you trigger every wrong answer trap.

< thinks the traps get a bit old if you trigger them all, but the brainfarts you get when you really try to be in phase with the game are unparallelled.

<'s pink hair arc is finally over, as < has had most of <'s hair shaved, and dyed the rest back brown. It's still got a bit of a pink hue within it, especially in the light, but < honestly finds it to look pretty good! < doesn't miss the vibrant pink hair, as < always found it to be super tacky.

< also thinks ^ should just play them all at the same time, simple as that :D

<'s advice : be careful. First it's going bald, then it's getting a tattoo and suddenly you start caring about the environment and have a french accent and suddenly you're a Pirez and you don't want that because you'll get accused of being an antisemite.

You double don't want that because there can only be one virgin king and < will defend the throne with the strength of a thousand wrists.

< waits for the occasion. <'s therapist says that < isn't in a state of mind of recognizing them anyway.

This is great for <'s therapist's investment fund, I suppose.

< would like that very much. She's very nice (it's her job), very understanding (it's her job) and very pretty (it's not her job)

Unfortunately, < will not entertain the idea because she's pacsed with a kid, and <'s philosophy is not do unto others, that kind of leftist crap, y'know?
