Yes, but Android games could be so much more if it weren't due to the limitations of the hardware and audience of the platform. That's what these consoles are, machines combining the accessibility of developing a game on Android with the sophistication of a traditional video game console.

Even if they were great gaming consoles about hardware, games and stuff, personnally I won't buy either them or PS4 and WII U. You can do so much more with a good PC and not only those developped for gamers. I have a cheap 500€ laptop and I can do tons of things with it including playing to many games (yeah I know I can't play Crisis on it and I can't use video maker softwares easily...).

I see Valve as an independent company with a fantastic direction that has also made a few stupid decisions, but I don't think they are the kind of company to start handing out console exclusives, nor do I think they would accept payment to do so unless said payment was ridiculously high.

Yeah Valve are one of my favourite companies, it would be shocking to see that happen, and I doubt it will. Realistically speaking, there could bea scenario like those with Steam Box get early access to certain content or something..but I know little of it so its dumb for me to even speculate

I will be getting a new computer tomorrow that can run steam games, and I'm hyped for it. I don't think consoles will ever appeal to me. The only reason I buy them is the games. No need for gimmicks and pointless TV options, just give me a logo introduction and I'm happy.

All computers can run Steam... Even my laptop that is not as powerful as my desktop. The compactibility mainly depends of the games you adquire through the program.

My point was that if I were to get just about any steam game going on my current one it would lag like fucking shit. Hell, I can barely run Minecraft with all the settings set to the point where the game is just ugly, and I even have the OptiFine mod to incease the FPS... which does nothing.
