You know... childhood is not as awesome as many people picture. School is a jail compared to college, and although you can have fun and play with friends, you're still under the command of people who, although they're not always right, still command you because they're bigger than you. Oh, I forgot HOW IMPORTANT used to be the canon of popularity followed at school, so you can't truly be who you are unless you really want to be bullied by other stupid kids. Let's not forget about the recess, aaaaah beautiful beautiful recess, I mean, we have 8 hours of work and study and just 1 hour to take a rest, but who cares, RECESS!!!

All for the sake of watching Digimon again, a TV show that you could simply find on the internet. Good luck traveling back in time

Digimon is just one example. There are many other great things and yes, I know I can watch it always on DVD and internet.

Oh, and I can see from your post you really have some bad memories with School :hinhinhin:
Not all of us did sergio. Not all of us did.

Seriously, childhoods don't disappear. Yours is totally fine and alive and it will stay forever.

Those aren't exactly bad memories, those are things that actually happen... unless you actually had 8 well deserved hours of recess. If that's the case, I'm happy for you

Only the first one, since it is the single one I enjoy from the franchise. The audio is japanese but it has got brazilian subtitles.

I watch Digimon with Japanese audio as well. Well then again I watch all Anime on Japanese except for Dragon Ball Z. I really do not like Goku's voice.
I tried watching Season 2 of Digimon and I hated it. I did not like new characters at all. Pretty much after that I never even watched other series.

I can't count how many times I've said this before on this forum, and almost worded the same way, yet no one listens and they continue to mope about it. You're stupid when you're six, so you don't realise how shitty everything actually is.

That makes me think: Are apes always full of wonder and excitement? A fully-grown ape supposedly has the mental capacity of a five-year-old human.

Rules:
-No one may refer to their childhood in any kind of a present or future tense.
-All childhoods remain intact exactly as they were when they occurred.
-Any modification or damaging of the childhood is strictly attributed to one or many delusions of the poster, and they shall be promptly banned, raped and killed.

- Wear Nostalgia Goggles at your own peril, RPC will not take responsibility if members attempt to lynch, harass or annihilate said wearer.
- Don't be a fanboy/girl, be a fan. Be rational, be constructive, and don't be a downright imbecile.

More rules added in first post. Will not mention childhood on RPC again.

I'm sure you're fine reminiscing, just don't be so...soppy about it, there are events in our childhoods that we will cherish 'til the end of our days, but the ending of childhood doesn't mean that you're not going to still come across things that will fill you with the same joy you've experienced prior.

At least you can always look forward to the nostalgia, such as video games. :)
