I guess it's a good deal then but I might want to wait until I have some extra moolah.

Follow OCG's advice, even if it doesn't turn out to be your cuppa, it's a rarity, and they can sell for quite some hefty prices.

But what will I do with it if I don't like it? Just have it there to be just part of my growing game collection?

Not a bad idea! I'll see if it's still there after Thanksgiving week.

Well, as has been said, they can go for some hefty prices. Perhaps you may be able to make some money if it's not to your taste.

But I more than willing to try outrage Prime series. After all, it was made by Retro who also make the newest DKC games.

Indeed, but Rare had matured by DKC, the Metroid Prime series was their first. For a debut, I think it was spectacular, but I don't know if it'll be to your liking, the Metroid series isn't of the same vein as DKC, like developer or not.

Okay, the GameStop I always visit still has both copies. I can get it for $44 and possibly get $5 off with a coupon. I think I might get it.

This topic needs reviving, not unlike a certain game franchise.

In all seriousness Federation Force looks interesting to me.

I spent $40 on Metroid Prime Trilogy and I have only played it once.

Why's that? Is it not your cuppa?

I'm going to take a wild guess that the reason is Metroid Other M introduced Higgs, and thus the Trilogy became unedible for Brad.

Didn't like the controls.

Well that's a legitimate complaint I guess. Additional control schemes never hurt.

True. I personally liked the Wii control scheme, much more free.

Maybe I will give it another try one day.

It might take some adjusting to, you can adjust the sensitivity and control in the options menu.

Metroid Prime is unplayable for me. It gives me motion sickness in five minutes.

Really? Blimey, that sucks.

Indeed. Bioshock is another game like that. I have very low threshold for motion sickness.

It's interesting how people's sensitivity to such stuff in games varies.
