Hm, must have missed it when I was going through this topic on my phone.
Either ways, I'd like to see this thread actually be used as it should, as it stands, barring Em's contribution, it's merely hosting off topic discussion that could easily be put elsewhere.

it says "maths and English." shouldn't it say "math and English" or did I forget how to use my native language again?
edit: maybe i'm just going crazy 'cause see "maths" on my sis's home-school book.

From reading, Math is how some say it across the pond, here we say Maths.

Even though I've always said 'math' and still do, 'maths' actually makes a lot more sense: "Mathematics" = "Maths". If someone were to say "Math", that would basically mean "Mathematic", which is just strange, though generally I find 'maths' kind of annoying to pronounce.
