I never owned Parappa 2 so I did not know. Wikipedia seems to lie.

Screw this censorship, I am buying Japanese version
This website say UK version is unedited too. I am confused. Is the god damn PAL version censored or not?

Oh yes I remember the anime. It was very child-like in a way, but god damn it's so lovely to watch, I certainly plan to watch the whole series some day.

I remember clearly now, the PAL version isn't censored at all. However, the only part I am not sure of is the one on stage 6, I am not sure if that is censored or not, I might try and see if the game won't freeze on my ps2 so I can check...

It is official. ePSXe is not accurate enough to play Parappa 1. 3rd stage is impossible. Game is totally out of sync. Time to try more accurate emulator like pSXfin.

If you mean you have to press the button almost a second after the area it is shown, that's normal. It happens even on PSP (PS1 classics or using some weird program that converts ps1 games to eboots) or any emulator. PSP "remake" of this game fixes this issue.

So I guess only way of playing first game (PS1 Version) is on PS1 or PS2 consoles with native hardware support.
Ah well, PSP remake it is.
