Pontiff is interesting because you really can tell he was supposed to be the final boss.
I haven't played Bloodborne yet though, which is sad. It just hasn't released on PC yet and probably never will

I do have Sekiro, just haven't played it that much yet.

From the trilogy, it's Cinder for me.
Overall, it has to be Isshin.

It's my least favourite game in the series. I also wrote a review here:

While it's fun at times I never played again after obtaining all achievements. That's something I did for DS1 and ER. To be fair, I also didn't touch DS3 and Sekiro again but I'd rather replay those games than DS2 at the moment. It's not a totally bad game imo but a bad souls game where the standards are high.

It's a pretty accurate review. Honestly, the adaptability stat and the stupid enemy placement, even though they're only two issues, make the gaming experience considerably worse. It's a shame, because DS2 gives you a greater variety of builds (although most of the time I end up going for quality build

). The levels are visually appealing, but compared to the standard of the other games, with DS1 probably being the best of them all, DS2 is a bit behind.

Don't forget about the dual wielding potential in DS2 though! Also, because of the build variety you mentioned, PvP actually might be the most fun in DS2!
Trust me, I had a lot more fun farming covenant items through PvP in DS2 than in DS3.
But that might also be because back in those days, there were no hackers online that tried to get your account banned from the servers by gifting you hacked items and such.

It's a shame that Bloodborne's online mode is so poorly designed. If only it were exactly the same as Souls when it comes to summoning/invading, it would truly be the most elegant and beautiful PvP of all.

Oh, the hacking in PvP. I've heard of it. The YouTuber Illusory wall made a video about hacking in DS1 and that it can corrupt your savefile. You need back them up or use a mod if you want to be save playing online nowadays.

I've just watched the video because I had to idea about that (I don't play on PC). What a bummer, it sucks that your experience is ruined by a bunch of morons who are just out to be annoying. In a relatively old game, the last thing you need is people discouraging online play.

Exactly. It's much different to let's say GiantDad invasions. They don't even get an advantage from killing your progress...

I still have to play the DLCs, they're included with the Fire Fades edition. Actually, it was a bargain because I bought the entire trilogy, with all the DLCs included, for €30 aprox!

Definitely slave knight Gael, no question!
Now I understand everything

10/10, the DLC was epic and the fight was beautiful, probably the best one of DS3 and one of the best bosses of the From games!
