I shall try splinter ray very soon. It's maybe the hardest challenge of all, LDP being okay if you know the levels well (during my second playthrough of the game, 1st try Granny, 8-bit Castle Rock and 8-bit Orchestra, 3rd try Mariachi Madness, 2nd try Dragon Slayer, 2nd try 8-bit Granny. I don't know why but 8-bit GlooGloo was very hard for me to finish : I needed around 10 tries to do so).

EDIT:

My page bugged and sent the beginning of this message.

HOW!? I have tried countless times succeeding and yet nothing!
Because there is some sort of glitch in the first room after the left-side door. You have to make sure that when the electricity is off, go on the UPPER route, on the aquariums. If you cross the sentry light below the second aquarium ( that continuously switches on and off ) EVEN if it's off at the moment you get through, you don't get the trophy/achievement.

Yep. Everybody advise to go through this room by the top of the aquariums.

Fortunately, the achievement isfor this level. It would be even harder on some other ones in 20,000 Lums Under The Sea.

20.000 Lums Under The Sea was absolute bullshit to me; all the other worlds were pretty cool, but this one was a no-go. The controls when in the water are horrible in my opinion.

I don't think it was because the controls were terrible, they were pretty good in my opinion (aside from the fact that Rayman doesn't breathe but still spit bubbles and that he spends his time swimming upside down while not giving a damn at all of this very awkward position). The issue is that as you can move through the entirety of the space around you on the contrary to other worlds and that you don't have the same characteristics (no jumps, slower, only one attack move, softer direction changes), it feels harder and incredibly frustrating.

However, the controls are reminiscent of what you can experience in water anyway. Scubadiving is not about speed, it's abotu staying calm and enjoying what's all around you.

But Gloogloo still hard as fuck.

BULL-HONKEY! The controls are fine! Throughout the game they're fine! 20,000 Lums Under the Sea is definitely has some of the best gimmicks in the game. The light sentries were fun and gave it some really good challenge.

Do this one. Guy who wrote is very handsome btw.

Beat Rayman 3 with:
1)Get all cages
2)Do NOT get hurt. (I know, my english is bad )
3)Get 100% on all levels
4)Get all the tribelles and matuvus
5)Get all the green gems.
In some few words, 100% the game.

I think 100%-ing the game is clearly impossibru without getting hurt :hap:

Then just beat the game with 100%, but you can get hurt :D more easyeah.

Play Jibberish Jungle without getting hit nonetheless, dying once.

Changing directions takes too long, using attacks in the water is difficult because you can't change directions... maybe it's more of a personal thing, but the list goes on and on for me.

Basically my suggestion of getting a really good Score, which he doesn't want to do for whatever reason. Also, given that he has quite a bit of experience with Rayman 3, 100%-ing it shouldn't be too much of a challenge for him (depending on how you'd define 100%-ing Rayman 3). And not getting hurt IS virtually impossible. If I were to seriously try to finish the game without getting hurt, I think I would get stuck on Reflux in DOTK. :P

Yeah, you're right. My definition of 100%-ing is complete the game, unlock all the minigames, find all Matuvus and Tribelles, save all the Teensies, get all the gems and get 100% score on all the levels. Damn, i thought this game was easy.

Yup, according to the developers, you can 100% your way through all the levels just by collecting all the gems and finding all the secret rooms. They made it so ridiculously easy that I often question what the point was in having that level score rating. Same thing with the Murfy stamps.

On a slightly related note it is odd that to achieve a genuine perfect score, you have to get hit at least once to allow the score counter to end with a 9 :P

With a few exceptions, of course. :P

It would have been funny if the Rayman 3 HD achievements had already existed for Rayman 3; namely because of the achievement "Perfection needs no arms: Complete every chapter with a perfect Score.", which would've required you to play imperfectly because you'd get a 0%-Score in some Parts - on the Teensie Highway in LOTLD for instance - otherwise. ;)

Also, I did have troubles getting 100% on DOTK Part 3 for a long time, so I guess those ratings aren't completely useless in terms of motivation.

I haven't played R3HD... Did they make better use of the score ratings then?

As for DOTK part 3, I don't know how deep into the score thread's history you've read, but the area was historically a hot topic for potential missing rooms in the game. We used an IPG-style glitch to explore part 3 in depth, internally and externally. Predictably, nothing came up (which was quite saddening really) so I've since regretted that initiative. Admittedly though, it's possible that a green gem could get teleported in or something similar, but we pretty much concluded it was a design fault from the developers...
