What is Runescape about exactly?

Well can someone explain to us what Runescape is about exactly? Just some information would be helpful.

Well, its an 3D medival RPG, which you do different quests and build up skills like attack defence mining smithing and other things.

Can you have several characters?

I don't think so. Anyways, I don't play this because it would waste my time on the net.... My internet time is only for discussion boards and forums lol.

You can, but you can only play one at a time.

Is it turn-based or time-based? Both? If it was both like Mario and Luigi : Superstar saga, it would be awesome man.

I think I prefer turn-based RPGs

Its a level turn rpg:

Like if you see your enemy's lvl is green, you have a good chance to win. If its yellow or dark orange, your lvl is even with your enemy's so its a 50/50 chance. But if its a red, its best to avoid them as much as possible untill you get strong enough to attack it.

You can have a look at the level and see if it is far higher than yours, you do not need colours ^^

I like turn-based as well, but SuperStar Saga is an exception.
