God I would love a real Rayman 4. It would make my inner child cry and have a head ache of nervousness all over again since that night on Christmas Eve, when I got Rayman 2.

Wouldn't be surprised if the video turns out to be fairly long, since there might be a lot to cover. I haven't seen any Unseen64 videos, but these types of videos usually use footage from other games to fill up the space that has no visual content, so he might be working on recording appropriate footage as well as writing a script.

Rayman 4 got mentioned again at the very end of the latest video. Fingers crossed!

Hmm, it doesn't seem that it'll be indefinitely exclusive, though. I'm ok with the Patreon's getting first dibs, it's a fair reward for their support.

Are they allowed to distribute the information though?

If it were permanently locked, I'd probably not have such a clear-cut viewpoint. However, timed exclusivity I've no qualms with if there's a decent justification.

I can't say that I'm not disappointed about this delay, so it better be some new informations if it has to be so exclusive.
I guess I can wait then.

I never said it is not fair reward for them. However once they were rewarded and they seen video, they should share it.

I have to be fairly honest though. I'm not on OCG's side with leaking this...
HOWEVER... the fact that Unseen 64 is keeping that Patreon exclusive does come across as... a bit selfish.
Do you own the rights to Rayman? No? So why is it Patreon exclusive? To me it just seems like kind of a cheap tactic to get us to fill their wallets. I don't want to make a huge deal of it since I'm sure we'll find it out eventually but honestly what justified reason is their for them keep it Patreon exclusive?

They sure as hell don't own the rights to Rayman and it really seems like a sleasy tactic to me honestly. Again, I'm not for leaking it, but nor am I for keeping it Patreon exclusive. I just see no reason other than cash and there are much more efficient ways of getting cash than holding back information that was never owned by you. Unless a head of Ubisoft or Ancel himself gave them the a-okay I just see no reason for it.

I know, I know, it's coming to us, but there's honestly no justified reason for holding it back. We donate to Patreons because we want to support. Viewing early works is no secret, but keeping back vital info really gives you the impression that they just want you to donate in order to view. I do appreciate a lot of their work, but if I were to do a MONTHLY subscription (which makes things worse), I would do it out of support, and I DO support Unseen 64. Otherwise I'm not going to wind up in a monthly subscription that'll be annoying as hell to get out of just for Rayman 4 info, as important as it is to me.

That's what I've been wondering about myself as well. Don't get me wrong, if something needs support for some cause which involves some creative content I'm interested in, I'm all in for supporting it.

I was a Kickstarter backer of Freedom Planet also a beta tester of Dino D-Day and of various other stuff too.
But in this case it's just awkward, I mean Wikipedia is also asking for donations for it's own maintenance, but can you imagine what'd happen if half of it would randomly close down and would become "backers only"?
