BULLSHIT!!!
Wow that's bullshit :x
Indeed :(
I have never been this mad and sad recently like I am now. If they have at least 1 European country on list, they should have all. If they have at least 1 Asian country, they should have all. If they have at least 1 American country, they should have all.

Fuck, I am tired of this. I have been restricted so many times like this in my life. I had it enough. I am sure there are more people that feel the same way so I suggest that all people from countries not included here send a politely worded email, showing how unhappy they are. Let's make Ubisoft change their mind and add all European, Asian and American countries.

It's a legal term. So, like an organisation can't enter.

Well, sometimes I wonder if they know that Portugal exists inside Europe. :?

I was so excited about this until I read the participant countries. Well thank you for the chance, guys.

If anyone inside the participant countries can go then I wish you good luck!

In all seriousness, it really does suck that so many members here are out of luck. I'm sure your videos would have been outstanding.

One thing I wonder is if they ask for country before or after submiting video. I would like someone to confirm this to me so I know should I even make it or not since if they do not ask on start, I might have a plan. Also I wonder if in theory, some of winners would be from country not listed but they have friend from listed country, can they enter their address for prize shipping?

What about the plane tickets in case you are chosen and find out that you put a fake country?

I really question why some destinations have more priviledge than others in contests like this (Iceland? Poland? Brazil?). I feel tempted to write an Open Letter to Ubisoft to express how happy I am to have given an oportunity to Portuguese fans (I underline, from Portugal) to create a video.

Buy plane tickets for a country you faked and then proceed forward? :oops2:
This is the only thing I thought of so far Haruka ^^'

I agree. It is very surprising they inculde Poland for example but not all its neighbour countries. Also including Spain but not Portugal? Do they think Portugal is owned by Spain or some nonsense? What about Balkans? Why is there no Balkan country on list? I already wrote email to Uplay support since this contest requires Uplay account anyways but if you have some other email or know their real address for writing, please let me know since I also want to write them in the name of my country.

For them to pick some countries over others, I'm just guessing but it might have to do with legal reasons? I don't know. Best to email them and find out.

Also, I'd be careful about putting down a different country etc. because that's fraud.

Do you think it would be considered a fraud even if there is real address put from that country and if person who lives there gives permission?

Acarr is right, it is really not a good idea to fake addresses.

But it won't be you :/ They'd have to be the person who sends the video and go to France if they win... it'll have to all be under their name etc.

I guess this is what I will do then. Make a video, just upload it on YouTube (I have right to upload any video I created on YouTube anyways), contact different gaming journal sites and ask them to promote video and share how Ubisoft is unfair. I swear for my country it cannot be legal reasons. There is no any law that prohibits such stuff here and my country tries its best to be accepted in European Union and to have good international relations with others. Its others that reject us.

If guy who bought over 100 Rosalina Amiibos contacted sites and asked for his story to be promoted, I can do it too. At the beginning of the video I will mention that Ubisoft does not allow my country in Rayman contest.

It's kinda dumb that Ubisoft's being so selective, and it only makes it worse when you consider what a slap to face it is to fans that aren't from those countries.

Do you think Ubisoft would accept a video from a masked guy ?
Anyway, I don't live in any of the country listed below, if it was about Star Wars I'll be fuckin' mad.

You'd think that a contest based in effing Europe would AT LEAST allow all european countries to get involved, but NOOO.

Still, why is Poland there, but not Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Austria or the Czech Republic (or Serbia for that matter).
I'm not saying I was 100% sure about making a video, but since last night I was already having pretty hilarious preconceptions of possible scene re-enactions only to get the middle finger instead. :pfff:

Woah...over-exaggerating much? I wasn't planning to derail the conversation, for me, these expressions are having the same relevancy value as a random meme.

It's an unimpressed purple horse, get over it.
