I've found a couple of songs with Rayman samples.

Just to save others time: 3:14 in the first video ("YEAH!" from Rayman 1)
I don't have time to look through the second though, so someone else will have to find it.

In the second one I think they sampled the Dream Forest ambience track. It sounds very similar but I can't exactly tell if it's the exact same or just generic jungle/forest noises that sound almost the same.

Afraid of snails? :? I just listened to that part and in context... Yeah, I think that's actually what he said. :|

Holy shit were they so lazy they had to use a sound on Rayman 1? :lol:

Hm, good point, why did they sample from Rayman? Could they really not just record someone yelling "Yeah!"? Eh, maybe they specifically wanted to use the sample for some reason.

Actually, speaking of samples, I've noticed the cartoon Tiny Planets has a lot of sound effects I'm pretty sure are from Rayman 1. I've heard the electoon giggle, the gendoor sound, the fist throw noise, and I think I've heard the bounce noise too. Whether or not those sounds came from somewhere else before Rayman 1 I'm not entirely sure.

Of course Rayman 2 would have this.

I might have to force myself to watch this again, the first time around I didn't really listen to the lyrics over my internal screaming.

I've been to a concert and Fox was there. He played this song for the first time. I was probably the only one who knew The 'YEAH' came from Rayman. :tssk:
Had a nice chat with him. Cool guy and massive fan of the first Rayman.

a lot of Rayman's sound effects were standard ones you can still buy off of Sound effect sites.. this also applies to a lot of the background beats used in Rayman 1 where they altered a lot of it and made them the stage tracks we know and love today.

Aight well this is amazing. Like, this song was actually conceived and written for Rayman 2. It mentions his helicopter hair and "the circle on his chest".

I had always just assumed this was a generic rap song with Rayman on the cover art. Nope.

You guys realise it's a parody of a song from a Mel Brooks movie right? Not that I've seen it but just sayin'.

Never knew that, apparently it's a cover of/parody on this.

So is the "afraid of snails" thing canon? What an odd thing to be afraid of if I do say so myself.

@spiraldoor
Did you randomly found out these songs or you used some method of reverse searching with Rayman effect to discover them?
