I dunno, but about HL3, VALVe have been really teasing lately, I won't be actually surprised they soon give us something.
Oooor they simply take a sadistic pleasure into luring fans.

Lol, excellent
This actually gives me an idea for a short film about Half-Life...
Huge Bump
So, Marc Laidlaw himself leaked the possible ending of Half Life Episode 3 (proving that it was still just a episode and didn't become a separate game from 2), the website in which he posted the story (which is by the way told in a lettered written by Gordon itself) exploded and couldn't be accessed for some hours by how many people entered the site. The story itself has actually a very depressing ending, with Alyx killing Mossman and going on a suicide mission with Freeman on the borealis, which by the way is discovered to be useless because the Combines are protected by a Dyson Sphere and shows how everything you've done in all the games is just useless, then Alyx goes with the gman and you get saved by the vorts, which then warp you in the future, where all of Freeman's friends died and he doesn't know where he is and basically gives up, letting the combines take over the world and showing how all the emotions and stories you've experienced in the games and episodes just led up to nothing..
That's honestly quite a way to wrap up the series , I love it but at the same time I hate it, it's more of an open ending than a cliffhanger, I was expecting something of epic proportions but after reading the script, I think it's perfect, it's just sad we never experienced such a "emotional" ending and got the end of one of the best FPS series out there in a blog post.

So Robert Guillaume has died. Reminds me of the good old days of the conspiracy theories that Robert Culp's death was the reason for the delay of HL3. And when people heard "ELI IS ALIVE!" in the sounds of fizzling radios in Portal.
