Rayman Pirate-Community

Okay, obviously the boxarts for Rayman Rush/Arena/M are riddled with errors (the presence of Ly and Ninjaws is the most glaring) but that comparison between the two character icons for Rayman mystifies me. It's even the same mode, but the interface of the point counter is totally different. Are you sure one of them isn't the PC or PS2 versions of Rayman Arena, which were basically just M?

The back of Rayman M's box prominently feature's Ly the fairy, so hey, both boxes are factually incorrect!

To add to this habit of error back in the day, I believe the manual for Rayman 2 on Playstation was mostly left as is from other versions, so it still says 1,000 lums, that there's cages, and big lums, etc. Not sure of the details exactly but I remember it being inaccurate and lazy.

Uhm yeah, I remember also some Italian Rayman manuals had some errors, and for some reasons the Rayman 3D manual has a pic of Rayman from Rayman 3 and not the second game.

You mean, Rayman DS.

No, in the Rayman 3d manual there's a pic of Rayman from Rayman 3.

anyone knows why the Rayman's avatar is different? I don't think that the first image is a beta version

not seems to me a beta version

The first picture is from a Beta build.

A better question would be why Ninjaws is on the cover.

Like said before, same happened with Rayman M where Ly was shown on the back of the cover. I guess Ubisoft was too lazy to remove those unused charactes or they were used for early Prototypes, we never seen before. Dunno.

I remember Ninjaws was also appearing in the old Rayman M (Or Arena?) flash site some years ago. I guess he got replaced by 1000.
