Yes, this is an actual image found in a Ubisoft powerpoint about Rayman 3
(thanks Got4n for pointing it out originally

)
Seriously, I have seen this picture plus the powerpoint link so many times, and never thought this is official. I swear, this is hilarious!

It was an image they had at a presentation about the game's development to introduce the section on what went wrong. It was never part of the game.

I guess it was a private conference then, I can't really imagine that they wanted to present their game with a picture like this.

My favorite romance in the series is (or was) Polokus and the Muse of the Poets. I feel so sorry for Polokus

Speaking of her, I wonder what the Muse looked like... and if she was really disgusted by their children, how was she not disgusted by Polokus to begin with?

Maybe he looked a lot more attractive before he went to sleep for so long.

Oh my, nr0r!
My favourite relationship is definitely Rayman + Ly, even if the final game doesn't quite show it (though in my opinion you see some hints to it still left in - you just need to look more carefully; not all love is so clearly pronounced and slap-in-your-face-look-they're-kissing-so-see-they're-together - sometimes you need to read the subtext).

Yeah definitely the best ship. It's so blatantly obvious, and not in the stereotypical way which is something I heavily appreciate. It feels more genuine, gentle and real which just makes it far more adorable in my opinion. Besides, we have the official art to prove it anyway! Disney styles of romance, and sit-com levels of awkward aren't always needed damn it.
However, another ship I like doing that has no chance of ever conceivably happening would be Betilla and Mr. Dark, as it can get really really deep and sad at times so it's a fun thing to write. I mean, who doesn't like Phantom of the Opera-esque romance, or lack thereof?

I recall spiraldoor once advanced a theory that not only were they lovers, they were Rayman's parents!

Good lord, that's hilarious. I'm doing a bit of roleplay with my husband sorrounding that possibility and it's getting as cute and shenanigans filled as you'd expect!
Man, now I miss Spiraldoor. I wouldn't mind catching up with him a tiny bit if he even remembers me at all.
