You’re emo Goop?

I’m not emo myself, but I do love songs that fall into the “emo” genre. My two favourite genres are Nu Metal and Pop Punk personally.

Well it’s a sub category! For example House and Techno would fall under rave!

Oh I see! So kinda like how Punk Rock, Harder Alt Rock and Softer Nu Metal could fall under Emo?

I never really considered emo to be a genre, but more a subculture. I think there's some overlap as well between scene, emo and goth subcultures, at least from what I've experienced.

Yeah. I usually find goth to be more sad, emo more angry and scene more happy though.
