Some games are OK as you wouldn't notice the input lag too much, but games like Rayman 1 and 2D Mario you will really notice the difference if you're used to playing the game on original hardware.

That said though I guess emulators kind of do count since you're still playing PS2 games :)
In that case my answer is, who doesn’t?
I love PS2 games. :)
Which reminds me when I get home I’m playing RR

Fun fact : The PS2 is my first video game console and RRR is my first video game.

My first legitimate non clone console was a Sega Mega Drive model 2. My mother made me sell it for £40 when I got a PS1, stating that I only needed one computer. I was annoyed for years trying to get another one but now I have 4 (a model 1 Mega Drive, 2 model 2 Mega Drive's and a Genesis model 1)

I think the PS2 is my favourite console of all time though because I had one for so long and even when the xbox 360 came out, I had it lying there as an ornament for years and still played the PS2. Even when my PS2 broke, I bought another slim one.

I favour the fat model though so now I have 3 of those I've restored to perfect working order and still 2 slims. Though I don't really like the slims I have as they sound like a hairdryer on low after a few minutes.

So, after i play Bakugan - Battle Brawlers, i choose Spanish language, the voice data for English, french doesn't work, That's what i had press the Eject Button for solution.
At in "My Room", it seems the voice data was corrupted or something about the back disc. Then i select Spanish language for some reason.

I tested in Real PS2 Console.

Nice. The PS2 was the first console I have ever owned and Rayman 1 was the first game for me. :)

PS2 was definitely the best console of that generation, it seemingly had everything. Platformers, RPGs, shooters, etc.

I'd say the gamecube only wins in terms of party games. So yeah, PS2 is still highly worth playing. Although a lot of the best games ended up being ported in HD now.

Yeah exactly. Everyone likes different games and PS2 had something for everyone. Some of those ports are good but some are a little glitchy, like the Rayman 3 HD port, though that doesn't make it unplayable.

But yeah I loved the PS2 for everything and I loved the Gamecube for playing Mario Kart, Mario Sunshine, PSO and a few others. Then I liked the xbox for the likes of splinter cell as it has better graphics. Even though the PS2 is weaker than the xbox and GameCube, it still remains my favourite due to both nostalgia and the brilliant game library :)

I've noticed that too, yet I feel like not all ported HD games will look better than the originals, and the originals will always have the advantage of is the nostalgic factor. At least, in my opinion anyway.

Same here though I do think it's cool that they actually ported them so if you really like the game you can try out the port. The PS4 Ratchet & Clank game for example is very different from the original game.

Few games though like MGS 3 Snake Eater and Shadow of The Colossus were given the 60 fps treatment when being ported in HD, so often the HD versions are the better ones to play. The only instance I can think of where the HD version was actually worse were the Silent Hill titles and Zone Of The Enders.

Oh well yeah for a few titles that's actually a good point since the PS2 wouldn't have the power to run at 60fps.

Sonic Heroes should've had a good 60fps port imo. The xbox and GameCube versions are 60fps but the PS2 is locked to 30fps. They released it on the PS store for PS3 and it's still only 30fps :(

They did the same thing with Shadow the Hedgehog on the JP PSN store, play that game on PS3/PS2 to make it an even better experience.

I played the heck out of my PS2 before I got the PS3 and PS4. It was so fun coming home from elementary school to play my PS2 games. I still have all of them today, about 60 of them. :)

You're doing better than me, I only have about 25 boxed games and probably about 20-25 loose discs on a spindle because the boxes are missing :P

Ahhh, seeing you guys talk about how many games makes me think of my video game collection too. Hmmm...I should check which ones still work, and it's given me an idea about something... 8)

Still that's a pretty nice collection you have there. :)

My first PS2 game was Wrath of Cortex. My older sister gave it to me when I began playing video games back sometime in '03 or '04. :)
