i am feeling uncomftable seeing that image
Well, some guy started working on a Rayman Legends level editor about four years ago. Actually I might be dreaming but I think he might have got back to it recently…The Jonster wrote:Mmmm, too bad. That would really have been awesome to see; I'm a little disappointed at that, but I wonder, maybe it could be out there on the internet somewhere, and I wonder if maybe someone had tried looking for that engine? Well I may just be babbling nonsense at this point
I remember seeing a topic about a level editor for Rayman Legends but i can’t find it.PluMGMK wrote:Well, some guy started working on a Rayman Legends level editor about four years ago. I found this, but I'm not sure it's what either of you are talking about or whether it's real or not.Birds858 wrote:I remember seeing a topic about a level editor for Rayman Legends but i can’t find it.PluMGMK wrote:Well, some guy started working on a Rayman Legends level editor about four years ago. Yes, it’s was this. The Jonster wrote:I found this, but I'm not sure it's what either of you are talking about or whether it's real or not.Birds858 wrote:I remember seeing a topic about a level editor for Rayman Legends but i can’t find it.PluMGMK wrote:Well, some guy started working on a Rayman Legends level editor about four years ago. Guess I can explain it, sorry for the YouTuber himself, if he asks me on Skype (he knows mePluMGMK wrote:Yeah, you can't really fake that. There was another video where someone went into more depth, talking about hex-editing the maps and everything. I'm pretty sure it didn't go anywhere though.
Well that's quite a bummer, as it makes my comment from 2 months ago about contacting him entirely pointless, I do however hope that the modding community here would try to play around with the level editing capabilities of the UbiArt games.GOT4N wrote: Guess I can explain it, sorry for the YouTuber himself, if he asks me on Skype (he knows me) I'll remove it, but basically he told me that the project never really started, this was just PoC, but he gave me a few resources about the ideas of map editing, I should look into it one day ^^
That would be neat, but (and this is probably a little controversial) I always thought Rayman character design worked better in 3d, so I would probably like something similar to the original animated series but with better writing and more characters from the games, even if the chances of that happening are fairly slim considering the quality of video game adaptations nowadays.Alexinator wrote:I would like to see a Rayman tv series with the Rayman Origins art style.
Or 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 can be RRR, RRR2, RRR TV PARTY, RO and RL.The Jonster wrote:Whether they call it Rayman 4 or Rayman 6, I’m ok with both. Though you have a point, 4 and 5 can technically be Origins and Legends, respectively.
You're not helping.Birds858 wrote:Or 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 can be RRR, RRR2, RRR TV PARTY, RO and RL.The Jonster wrote:Whether they call it Rayman 4 or Rayman 6, I’m ok with both. Though you have a point, 4 and 5 can technically be Origins and Legends, respectively.
Rayman Revenge of the Dark is a prequel to Rayman 2 (that why it's old name was Rayman 1,5 : Revenge of the Dark) So i don't think that Adsolution will rename to Rayman X Revenge of the Dark.Rayman Saturn wrote:Or how about Rayman 34, 42, 63, 69, 666, and Over 9 000 ?
Technically if we really count all the "main" titles it would be Rayman 10 (R1, R2TGE, R3HH, RRR, RRR2, RRRTVP, RO, RL, and RA), maybe Rayman X then ? Could be a nice opposition to the O on Rayman's clothing ! (Maybe Adsolution should add the X to Rayman Revenge of the Dark's title ! It would be another reference to Dark Rayman as he has a X on his clothing in this game and Arena ! Rayman X Revenge of the Dark... nah, it might sound like a little too much actually...)
Rayman X… Sounds a bit cliché. Could be good though, depending on what they do with it.Rayman Saturn wrote:Technically if we really count all the "main" titles it would be Rayman 10 (R1, R2TGE, R3HH, RRR, RRR2, RRRTVP, RO, RL, and RA), maybe Rayman X then ? Or they could make a reference to this same O with the 10 !... Or simply Rayman 0... I dunno.
I remember that, I just forgot if she definitely used the X or simply went for the good old O. And yeah, Rayman X would be a ridiculous title anyway.PluMGMK wrote:Rayman X… Sounds a bit cliché. That was many many years ago though.
I'm well aware of that, I just wanted to express my stupid ideaBirds858 wrote:Rayman Revenge of the Dark is a prequel to Rayman 2 (that why it's old name was Rayman 1,5 : Revenge of the Dark) So i don't think that Adsolution will rename to Rayman X Revenge of the Dark.
