It doesn't say it on the Brawlhalla updates page on Steam yet, but I might wait until after I get some sleep to actually open the game and check. I'm very interested to hear about it though

UPDATE: OK so he's there on my Xbox, Rayman is on the front cover

Globox, Raymesis and Barbera are also skins in the game but I think they are DLC. Rayman isn't selectable for me but I think that might be since I'm only on level 1 and haven't played the game yet. It seems like they also added Kung Foot.

This is really exciting seeing Rayman on the cover and all the Rayman content

EDIT: Rayman costs 7200 coins and you have to pay for the other stuff by buying mammoth coins.

I got to 2600 coins on Xbox today and then the servers went down for maintenance because the game kept crashing

How did you manage to do that? I mean it's so much gold, I'm only at like over 300 coins (almost 400 I think) and they're asking for so much gold for you to buy it!

Oh well, I'll probably make it someday and will be able to play as Rayman!

Yeah I was going to say this, but you can already tell that I have the game now and tried it out. At first, I thought it was for mobile devices, but then I realized it was actually for PC on Steam and I installed the game from Steam and I was hella excited to play it! I really like the whole Rayman theme that the game has at the moment. For example that Tricky Treasure icon in the main menu, the lums at the different sections of stuff that you can buy (the ones that have the taunts, the sidekicks and stuff like that) and speaking of, I really like how they included a Lum King as a sidekick! And also the fact that you can play as Globox, Raymesis and Barbara and the Kung Foot and that it has the same effects, sounds and even the same red and blue flags in the background like in Rayman Legends! At first I didn't notice it but then when I noticed that I thought it just looks so cool...

You should play the tutorials if you haven't already. That will earn you 450 coins. Also you don't even really get much more for winning and it seems to be about taking part. You get more XP for winning though and each level gives you over 100 coins too. I think it was 120, but I can't even check now while the servers are down.

Oh wow, really? You can get 450 coins just for playing the tutorial? Nice! Well, I just leveled up so I guess that's what got me over 300 coins.

Anyway, this game is very reminiscent of Super Smash Bros. because I've noticed for example is while you're falling and you're really far away, you can see yourself in a circle and next to that circle is an arrow pointing to where you are. Anyway, when you do fall down and lose a life, a creature (I guess?) will gently put you back to the arena and you can continue "brawling".

Yeah it basically is a free to play version of Smash except it's Ubisoft instead and has a cool cartoon art style like Rayman Origins

Yeah I've seen the art style, this cartoon style is pretty neat! I only finished the tutorials so far and most of my other coins have been through log-ins (currently 1350), but I'm going to get some practice in tonight so I can try and get Rayman too and be good at this game. I'm not bad at fighting games but I don't see myself as good at them either.

If I had been using Steam I would probably have Rayman unlocked already. As for how I am at the game, I have thrashed some people, but then I have also been thrashed too

Tried to reply 3 times now and my PC would always freeze and not respond and my messages got lost... ^^
To make it short, just play the game, you will get there pretty quick. I actually had 8500 gold yesterday after having played the game 8 hours in total and being lvl 12, so you see it doesn't take that long! Doing daily missions also helps and login bonus is increased right now during the event too! I played ranked mostly, but I don't think that matters, correct me if I'm wrong

Just play free for all matches. No matter where you place, you'll have fun and still get coins and xp. I can't wait to play it again tomorrow seeing as Microsoft killed it for me today after 2 hours of play

Yes you're right Steo, I kinda made it seem like you have to grind for the gold, but actually you can just have fun and play !

And that sucks that the servers were down, luckily I'm a PC player and all was fine there, but poor Xbox players ... ^^ but also understandable, that there might be troubles, as the game just got released on that console.

I actually am having a lot of fun with the game and at first I thought it was weird that the announcer or whatever says the game's title out loud and when you pick a fighter how it says that fighter's name out loud but now I actually got used to it and I actually like it now.

Oh wow, nice! Congrats man!

I'm actually having a lot of fun with this game (especially with Zariel at the moment, I just love his moves) and I'm earning so much gold so fast! ^ was right, you do actually get a lot of gold from playing free for all matches! Before I played, I had 800 gold but after I played I had over 2100! Which means I'm getting closer and closer already to unlocking the legend in the purple shirt we all know and love (well, on this forum especially): Rayman! I'm so curious and excited to play as him!
