One of the sites in their coverage of E3 (it was either G4, Gamespot, or IGN forgot which) had a ubisoft rep say that all minigames have alternate wiimote/nunchuck controls, so yeah.

I'd buy the balance board if it had the DK Bongo appeal of finding other games that work with it but shouldn't (The sonic and Shadow levels in SA2 are oddly enough playable with the bongos.)

This could be great news!

But Ubisoft is nearly forced to make a new rayman (pc) game, the last is from 2006 and we are waiting for a rayman game. I hope they make, cause i completed rayman raving rabbids the same day i bought it.

To be honest, any expected Rayman game in the next couple of years will almost certainly be a rabbids one, I guarantee it. The rabbids theme has sold well for Ubisoft so they'll most probably use the rabbids for the next Rayman game they make. It sucks ass.

Personally, I'd prefer a less "Scary Movie" type of Rabbid game.

They're alright, I enjoy them sometimes but yeah, too much spoofs could make things lame.

I just wish they'd spend more time thinking about the game instead of whipping out one every year.

If these were platformers, I'd slightly agree. But for a collection of minigames? I think going over a year of development time for something like that sounds ludicrous. The reason why these games come out yearly is because they take less time than most other genres. Nintendo releases at least one set of minigames a year too (06- Wii Sports, WarioWare, 07- Wii Play, 08- Wii Fit, 09- Wii Sports Resort) to put things into perspective. Cranking them out would be more along the lines of getting bi-annual releases instead of annual ones.

WarioWare, look at that, Mario Party, look at that, they take more than a year to develop and they're SO better than RRR games.

Look, those games you brought up weren't made by the same people, and Wii Sports is only about 5 GAMES.
Wii Fit is a plastic board and not a game after all, something for a game, people make those EVERYDAY.
Plus, some of those Wii Graphics, SUCK. Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Wii Resort uses Miis, you think it's hard to make Miis rather than Rabbids?

I may sound low for criticizing the graphics but in all honesty, I know they care about gameplay more but Miis are simple graphics, Rabbids and Rayman have a lot of things that are not just 2D on them.

Mario Party 1-3 were all released a year after each other, and those were the only good Mario Party games. Anything after that is such garbage I'm surprised you actually think the Rabbids games are worse. Although to be fair, 4-7 were also released a year after each other.
And you're right, Warioware is different. They had bi-annual (thats two a year) releases for the first four games and stopped until the Wii version came out.
Kelvin12 wrote: and Wii Sports is only about 5 GAMES.
I fail to see how this is relevant in the slightest but this is still wrong. Each sport has three different 'training' minigames associated with it which when added to the core sports is really about 20 minigames a player can partake in.
Kelvin12 wrote:Plus, some of those Wii Graphics, SUCK. Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Wii Resort uses Miis, you think it's hard to make Miis rather than Rabbids?
The games aren't just Rabbids or Miis on a white screen, they still have to model scenery and objects, they still need to create HUD and Menu art. I'm not entirely sure you're playing the same games as I am. Also, I'm positive RRR2 reused the Rayman and Rabbid models from the first game so thats kind of the same as reusing the Miis. ... Actually I have no idea what the hell your point is with this.
Kelvin12 wrote:Wii Fit is a plastic board and not a game after all, something for a game, people make those EVERYDAY.
I take it you actually haven't played Wii Fit. It does in fact contain a minigame collection that makes up for half of the content. The plastic board you seem to confuse Wii Fit with? Yeah, thats called the BALANCE BOARD.

I think Ancel will soon step in, hopefully. ;)

Yeah. He will come in and say: "What the FUCK are you idiots doing!!?? I allowed you to use Rayman as a character in the rabbid games, but i never allowed you to screw him up!! I'm gonna make a new platformer to save his image!" And he should do it in western style. :D

Now this is good news to my ears. The thing about party/minigame collections like the Rabbids series is that they are good at first, but when you start making sequels out of the woodwork, you dillute everything and endanger the title character's reputation. Of course, I believe that WarioWare is the exception, a little bit. I enjoy that series.

Mario Party? Not so much.

But back to the main concept, which is that they are hinting at a platforming return for Rayman, and I hope that's true.

Yes! There is hope for Rayman after all! The first Rabbid game was all right when it came out but the second one was taking a bit too far in my opinion, is there even an ending to Rabbids 2?

Finally some sign of good news after these starving years.

I admit I'm a rabbid hater. I don't like them, I beated RRR and I had a really bad headache because of these little bastards. PRobably if they wouldn't have been a part of the Rayman universum, then I wouldn't bother myself with them, I wouldn't hate them, I would like some of their humour, but I wouldn't love them also, I would kinda ignored them. But with this turn, I mean changing a beautifull fairytale fantasy with a true hero into a saturday morning retarded cartoon, with stupid annoying creatures and turning the hero into a party lover duchebag... uh... I really want back that hero. I mean... check Raymans face on RZ's main page, that doesn't seem heroic, that seems idiot and retarded.

Maybe the best would be doing the same thing with megaman 9. A game just for only hardcore fans.

You don't have to "admit" that you're a rabbid hater. Be proud of it. :proud:

I couldn't say that better myself. In fact, i don't think anyone here could.

What Bloodgrey said is right
and I bet the reason theyre making more sequels is just for money.
The team working on RRR1-3 should have their faces put in Rayman 4 as targets that Rayman has to shoot in an arcade minigame (like in Rayman 3).

I love how they talk about the Diehard Rayman Fanboys cluttering the forums. I guess you could count me in as being in that category.
