Well maybe, whoever started using the word Glute with Globox was probably not talking about his species, but a part of his body.

Globox was called a "stupid toad" in R3... maybe nobody knows what his species is!

But it's better than Glute.

By the way, R3 was translated to Polish by very good translator, however he also has some errors, if you're sure "glute" is ass. He translated it to "glut", which in Polish means... something, that you have got in your nose when you're cold.

Whatever. He's a frog/toad in my book. There isn't even an animal with the name of "Glute".

I'd go with Globox personally. It would make it easier to identify his family, with the categories and stuff...

Why would the whole race name themselves after him?

Probably because his babies are called baby Globoxes, but it could be the family name or something. For instance, we learn in the PS version that Murfy's species is called Murfy too.

Ubi-Soft fails at making creative names for species of creatures. T.T

Rayman's language is Raymanian.

Yeah, they do fail.

Well Ubisoft probably didn't plan on having fans create a wiki about their games.

Yeah, they do fail.
Raymanian = Gibberish. They just gave it a funny name in Revolution. THE END!
And about Globox's species: I don't see what's so bad about calling him a glute. :| It's better than calling him "a Globox", and calling Uglette "a Globox" too. That would just make me feel stupid. -_-

Gibberish is a common word, it can't be used as a language name.
