*BUMP*

Apparently this guy has got the Atari Jaguar Source Code Collection:

Anyone with enough courage to ask him if he could share us the RAYMAN folder?

I only found this in the internet:

http://justclaws.atari.org/jagudome/sounds/

I wished I could listen the Atari Jaguar soundtrack, it's unique compared to the other versions.

Also, Project Tempest seems to be abandoned, it isn't developed for years.

And in Virtual Jaguar, an update of some months said they were working in the version 2.0....

It seems that guy of justclaws accepts e-mail requests of Jaguar sounds. Perhaps someone could send him an e-mail too to ask the complete soundtrack?

*Sorry for double posting*

Drolpiraat, did you menage to get an answer from the YouTube guy?

Or does this means that someone must get the source code of Atari Jaguar?

Nope, I never got an answer... but I think I remember someone saying that nobody really knows how to compile the source code without a Jaguar so I don't think it's worth getting it.

Then we must wait for a new version of Virtual Jaguar emulator... How bad.

Still needs some work before it can be put on RayTunes.

Well done for finally uploading the music though, quite a few tunes that only seemed to have stayed on this version.

L.M. Murphy, that is really awesome, thanks! The sound isn't quite okay yet but I'm sure it's not that hard (just time-consuming) to correct that in the original wave recordings (hopefully you still have those). I'll put it on the new RayTunes site when that's done. ;)

Oh and you really deserve the "King of RayTunes" title now. :P

Had a good proper listen to them all and I can see what a lot of people mean about these sounding nowhere near as good as the CD versions. Like the Mr Dark theme for example... What I find interesting though is how there seems to be about 5 completely different pieces of music. Before I heard like a tiny snippet of one of the Band Land ones and I was like, "hmm, Atari-only music?" and as I went though them I got more interested each time I heard a new one.

I was thinking about making midis of these so then we could do whatever we like with those, especially if anyone is ever gonna create a Jaguar soundfont [extremely unlikely!].

They can be also used as mobile phone polyphonic ringtones. :P

My brother decided to chip on this and made a MIDI of the Jaguar version of the main Band Land tune.

Enjoy:

Well, so what is "wrong" with music so it can't be put on RayTunes officially? Didn't have a listen yet.

OK, I took a listen. I suppose Jaguar's audio chip was quite WTF, quality of the thing is similar to ~2003 mobile phone. This is quite sad, I expected rather something like 32X.

Right now it's not so much the quality of the actual chip but rather the fact that emulating it hasn't been 100% perfect yet and that's why some of it's so scratchy.

That said I looked up that Bubsy game for the jag and even that used the sound chip better, admittedly.
