It was nothing to do with the backlight or anything, it was too dark on their computers and shizz. Though the original GBA failed for not having a backlight.

Simple: because now you can play it portable. That's the point in it.

Rather like eboooting the PS1 version of R1 on a hacked PSP. Or downloading it from PSN the legal way.

But if you don't own a PSP, like me, then you can play it portably.

Really, the sound and graphic quality isn't enough to ruin the game for me.

I don't have a PSP.

Yet. :mefiant:

And I don't want one unless I know I can install custom firmware on it and play PS1 games.

And there are many complications involving motherboards and firmware updates designed to destroy homebrew...

At the time ( 2001 ) the PSP didn't exist yet. The only portable console at the time where the Gameboy series

You think so? They should try to port Rayman 3 to DS next. :hehe:

I'd prefer if they stopped porting and remaking Rayman games and got on with making R4.

Yes but those guys are fucking lazy idiots and just don't care for Rayman anymore. R4 is unlikely, so I don't want to get my hopes up. Port Rayman 3 to DS I'm beggin' yah lazy money hogs. It's the least you could do.

Porting Rayman 3 for DS would mean an epic fail. The DS doesn't have the power to pull it off :P

Who voted Rayman 2 Forever? I thought that game sucked, apparently.

Rayman 3 is, by far, the best. Know why? It sticks to its roots! Just about every concept, every gameplay mechanic, every character from Rayman 2 is in that game, plus dark lums, Hoodlums, and Rocky Balboa (he reminds me of Foutch). R1 and R2 Forever are alright. If R1 had saving it would be perfect, especially with the final boss. Hoodlum's Revenge is great too, because you can play as Globox :D And RRR is true to the series, but glitchy.
