Revolution still wasn't my favorite though, in all honesty. I feel like it's the same concept as using too many pencils in your coloring box or tweaking your already-wonderful painting too much. Eventually, all the "improvements" add up and ruin the experience.

As for Grolem 13, I'm not sure it's supposed to be a real guardian. In the French version, it says «fabrication en flux tendu », which can be translated into “just-in-time production”.

That's kind of funny, but I don't think they intended for it to mean that Grolem 13 wasn't a real guardian.

It sounded as if he had been created by the pirates to me, but I suppose it's also because of the name. Grolem would have been much better, don't you think?

It's Golem. And I think we've been here before...

The France, Golem is called "Grolem". And I just cannot believe that Grolem 13 was created by the Pirates. He bears no similarity to anything created by them, and if he was a Pirate creation, wouldn't there be some indication, like a cutscene or something? I think the "13" is just to give the guy a different feel and a vague aura of mystery...

For example, is he the thirteenth guardian of the fourth mask? Have there been twelve other Grolems, all destroyed by different heroes, for different reasons? Or perhaps Foutch is "12", Umber is "11" and Axel is "10"...which raises more questions...

I think the thirteen stands for bad luck.

Yeah, I'd just leave it there. It's a cool name though. Grolem 13, as opposed to Grolem, which is too basic I think.

If it would be 12, it would mean masks were activated at least two times before. But 13... simply an unlucky number. Or maybe Grolem Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr. Jr..

Maybe folks at Ubisoft were brainstorming ideas and somebody made a typo <3

Back to Grolem 13. He looks exactly the same, but his facial expression is a bit different and his colour palette is different to that of Axel.

Which makes me wonder WHY

Grolem 13 boss fight was very disappointing, although it was hard at first. I think I defeated him my second try. Am I the only one who thinks Axels and Grolems colour is totally different? But then again it could be my TV....

Grolem was my favourite boss in the game.

As a boss he was magnificent (although still replicated from Axel in my opinion), but the boss FIGHT was very shallow. The gameplay only involved shooting rain clouds and dodging his shots; the whole thing seemed more like a chore than an interesting combat.
