I don't know anyone who owns a PS3. :confus:

But almost everyone has a Wii.

Wow, PS3 must be great.

Um...more like half that :|

A sequel to American McGee's Alice has been announced, for PS3, 360 and PC. I had the first game a few years ago, and I remember it was quite good.

It will most likely take Naughty Dog another year or so to get started on Jak 4, as they are currently working on Uncharted 2.

I didn't buy one initially because of Sony and some of the stuff I didn't like that they were doing. I'm still never getting one, though now it's more me having become a shooter purist over time, and shooters are so much better on a powerful PC than on a console if you ask me. (In short, I didn't want one, I still don't want one, and I probably won't ever need to get any other console ever again.)

I suppose Modern Warfare 2 and Serious Sam 3, though they have a ways to go. I usually don't bother with previews though and usually I'll only look at new releases to see if anything interests me. (I find it easier than anticipating stuff that's supposed to come out in a half-a-year or so.)

Tim Schafer's (creator of Psychonauts, my favourite game) next game: Brütal Legend. The day it comes I will skip school to play all day.
A game I took a look at today that looks interesting, is Dragonage: Origins, though I'm not too sure about that one yet. It looks interesting though, but I don't like the style.
Sims 3 but uhhhh I think I'm quite done with that franchise by now, so I'm probably not getting it. If I'm getting it it's probably only because it runs on the Mac and the entertainement is nice to have when I can't bring my Xbox.

All three are supposed to be released this year. I need a job.

I also heard about the new Elder Scrolls-game, but I didn't like Morrowind, nor Oblivion, so I'm probably not getting it. I think it has something to do with first-person view, and the endless crawling around in dark dungeons that look the same all the time and ugly monsters lurking around every corner. I don't like that at all, though Morrowind was a bit better than Oblivion in that aspect. Anyways, those were just stressing and unenjoyable games to me.

World of Goo looks interesting, though I haven't read to much about it, only seen some concept art.

The PS3 is just a joke, to me. There's literally zero games that interest me on there. The PS2 will always be my favourite games console.

I think the best games have already been made, they just don't make them like they used to. I will still follow the Crash Bandicoot series as I always have but otherwise there is rarely a new game that interests me.
Two games I wish would be made: a sequel to Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Rayman 4. It's about fucking time. Been like six years since the last game in both franchises.

You're talking about Australian dollars or something, right? Because that seems really, really expensive. In Ireland you can get a preowned PS3 for 299 euro, along with four games and three DVDs thrown in.

That isn't what I wanted this thread to be about, but if anyone wants a stupid fanboy argument I'll oblige...

I'm looking forward to God of War III more than any other game right now.

I sort of agree that there were too many dungeons, but Oblivion is one of my favourite games of all time. The way you can go anywhere and do anything, I just liked quite a lot. Though I hope the next one offers improvements in some areas...

299.00 EUR = 593.123 AUD
You generally get 2 or 3 games thrown in.
I swear, everything seems cheaper when you're talking in european currencies.

But remember about VAT.

Anyway, I thank about PS3, and I found new models (without Graphics Synthetiser 1) garbage, as there are really a few interesting next-gen games in my case. So backward compatibility forever!

Yeah, almost all our banks ( except for the national, afcourse ) ran out of bussines. And also, many factory's too, there are still plenty of jobs tough, and now we have good leaders back in our gouverment.

I'm pretty sure that's world-wide ;)

Now, back on topic...

Half-Life 2: Episode 3

It pleases me that such classic series continue to produce titles which are not actually inferior to the originals...

Sonic Megamix v4.

It seems like it would be an interesting alternative for Little Big Planet, especially with its price.
