I don't believe it is. His "behavior" is enough to be rayman, and anything else you change doesn't really do anything..Changing the "behavior" will just make him not rayman anymore.

Well, I'm not sure about the graphics.

Something I've wanted to do for awhile is make rayman have Dark/Bad/Black Rayman's graphics....And let's avoid discussions on the name, just let him be existance. :mryellow:

It would be pretty neat if you could get Dark Rayman into one of the levels.

Well, the Rayman event is just an indicator to the game where to begin the map, not the playable character. Changing his behaviour would have funny consequences, but he'd still work as long as the name is "MS_ray_in_map". But I have changed Rayman, remember? You change the sprite of the reduced Rayman object. I'll make a video soon. :wink:

Huh? No I don't remember that.

I just came here to say changing graphics on Rayman (MS_ray_in_map) is futile, you get into the level, nothing is there, it blanks out, then you go back and everything's fine with rayman.

Ok so my pc runs Rayman gold no matter how many times i click on ''Rayman designer''.... WHY??
Does Rayman gold have an Rayman designer bonus thing or something? :confus:

And plum said it depents on how my pc reads the iso/cd..... but really that doesn't help much.

Plum figured out how to make rayman dark and fat.

EDIT: I can't make Rayman look like the evil counterpart, but I can make him look like normal rayman! :paranormal:

Can you run the Mapper.exe? I could never get it to run with without the patch. You make the levels through the Mapper program and when you run designer it's to play the levels. Designer itself is a DOS exe while Mapper is a windows EXE. All of this stuff was way less confusing and worked like a charm back when Windows 95 was king, but since Microsoft sucks at backwards compatability, you have to make use of emulators or patches to get anything running as it used to.

That's hilarious. I wonder if you could create a level like the original where dark Rayman copies your moves, except you are both short and fat.

Mapped and Rayman designer from Raykit can't even start up, the screen dissapears if i start them

No, you can't make the following Dark Rayman fat. You see, I got this by changing the Reduced Rayman sprite. The playable character has a certain size it has to stick to and there isn't a thing we can do about it. Following Dark Rayman has no such feature/limitation.

Maybe there is a way to bring Joe into the game. Or the shining fist in the darkness. That would be interesting.

@sfn: No, Cave has had more sprite packages removed than any other world. We can't even get red antitoons or pricklies in it. :(

Does he even have a code? I'd think the spell just creates a duplicate of the target with a shifted pallet. They didn't redo the colours because I cheated myself to the last level and used the grimace (normally you can't anymore) and Dark Rayman's tongue was green. They must've just shifted the pallet over a few colours.

If it's true, that would mean Mr. Dark could create replicas of any Entity in the level if you know what you're doing.

Shame. Cave has always been my favourite world and it would have been cool to play a level in darkness.

The darkness isn't reliant on an image pack, I believe, so we can still probably get it to be dark...

It's just Cave is one of our least favorite maps to mod..Hahah, don't ask why, I guess we're just not too fond of it? :oops2:
