This is a very good initiative, except it wasn't really posted in the right section, which is why you'll probably excuse me for moving it. As for the topic title, I'll let everyone judge of it.

Firstly, allowing people to choose any rank would ruin the Tings system as well as the rank system itself, as most of them would choose über ranks and totally forget about the others. Allowing people to choose any rank downwards sounds like a better idea, but they usually give Tings to a storage account when they want to switch to a lower rank. Not to mention that it would imply significant changes in the coding of the rank system, which I would rather not have to do unless it is really indispensable.

What grabbed my attention is the idea of improving the rank list itself. I have expanded it several times since the beginning of PC, but it's actually been a long time since we last did it. However, I'm certainly not adding scores of new random ranks without even thinking about their position and Tings equivalent. The main problem, which R4321 pointed out, is that there are many more enemies than good guys, which won't allow us to add even half the baddies in the games if we keep our current system.

Well, I posted in the pinned Ranks topic, which was spammed to death, then I created a Ranks topic by myself, which was spammed to death, so to prevent it being spammed to death, I had to post it in the Rayman forum. That's why the title is what it is. And yeah, I don't care wether you move it or not, you're the administartor here.

Ah, thanks. Well, their are many 'stupid' bad guys like Notes or Piranha's which could be removed, if you get what I mean. But, there are still only 26 good guys, 28 with 3 versions of Rayman. Which is far too low. It wouldn't really matter if we allowed people to switch between good and evil, but I don't know if that's possible. It probably is though.

EDIT: Hmm, there are currently 30 good guy avatars. Or I counted the good guys in my post wrong, or I forgot a few...Although i don't know which ones...
