No

This tool doesn't hack the game! It only helps to modify it. All the things are possible without my tool. It only HELPS to make the "Rayman Designer modding" very easy.
You don't understand what the term "hacker" really means, it's a shame that people always think about 17 year old kids that crack the computers of their governments, a hacker however is just someone that solves problems in a creative way. It was a bit hard to modify the game, so you made a tool to make it easier, you solved a problem. And that's why i gave you that "compliment", but never mind.

And thanks for the lists, they'll come in handy when working my way through SDL C++ programming, and how a game like Rayman Designer is structured. Thank you ! :D

Indeed, i also hate those people if they dare to call themselves a hacker, but a hacker doesn't exploit security holes, a true hacker fixes them with a creative solution.

Not that i'm a hacker, though, far from actually, although i strongly agree with the principes of the hacker community.

If those people shouldn't be called hackers, how come the name in general conversation refers almost exclusively to them? :?

That is because of the media, they uncorrectly started reffering to the people who cracked computer systems as hackers.

But we're getting way off-topic, and that for just one little sentence :P

In principle, hacker and cracker are the same thing, with different purposes, like said. So I agree that hacking is referring to constructive purposes and cracking (or criminal hacking, to make a better understanding) is referring to destructive purposes.

But "hacker" is not the only term that have been abused so much. "Virus" have also been. People use it as synonym to the catch-all phrase "malware" (short for "malicious software"), which is software designed to infiltrate and harm a system. It's also true that viruses was the first kind of malware created. And not only have the media misused the term, because in the early days when viruses where frequent, the companies that developed some removal tools called them "anti-viruses", which made the term adapted today.

And another abuse in my opinion, is where Denmark call websites for "homepages".

I made a Tool for Rayman Designer, which makes following things very easy:

- Change the grahic sets (which you use in the mapper)
- Add (or edit) new events to the game
- Edit the map settings (background, music etc.)

It also features a code- and graphic pack wich include a lot of new codes, unused stuff and all grahic sets from
Rayman 1 and the learning series (for the Mapper).

The programm is in english but the help files also in the following languages:

- German
- Spanish
- French

To use it you need Rayman's World (Rayman Designer etc.).

Have fun ;)

None of these are actually new. I'm pretty sure I have seen every one of them on Betilla's Garden.
