I disagree. More people in the world means a greater number of talented people, which means better stuff in general. For example, if the earth's population doubled, that would mean approximately double the number of A-grade game developers, scientists and so on.
It would also mean double the idiots, which is bad.
Not if we implement eugenics.

As concerns the poll, I think good-looking and stupid people are in general happier than their ugly and clever counterparts, hence my vote.
