The England is going to lose against Algeria and Slovenia if they keep Green (The goalkeeper) because opponents can shoot far and Green will miss.

Oh, please. Rob Green is an extremely talented goalkeeper, something anyone who watched even a small number of West Ham's games last season would know. Without him they would have gone down for sure. Capello had his reasons for selecting Green as the England goalie and it would be foolish of him to change his mind now, as it would most likely have a very bad psycological effect on his replacement and the rest of the team. Imagine the pressure on Joe Hart's shoulders if he is named as England's new first choice knowing that he only needs to make one mistake in order to be kicked out on his ass.

I firmly believe that Robert Green will redeem himself many times over with a number of excellent saves in the coming matches if Capello has the balls to stick by his choice of having him as his first choice goalkeeper.

Domenech is incompetent. If France had had a proper manager they would have been one of the favourites. Now they're being eliminated in the group stage instead, just like in 2002.

1998 : Champion. 2002 : eliminated in the group stage. 2006 : Vice Champion. 2010 : eliminated in the group stage.
Who said that France wasn't regular ?

I don't even care France lost. But they were really really bad yesterday. Even if you're not a professional in soccer, you can easily see there were no team spirit... Even North Korea were better, in my opinion.

They certainly seemed very desperate in the latter stages of last night's match.

Anyway, England are on tonight, and I've heard Green has been replaced. :)

Hup Holland!
Will root for them now. The match wasn't too impressive but at least they aren't losing any points and they'll get better I'm sure, especially when Robben kicks in with his ownage.

Forza Azzurri! I'm Italian. I belive we can arrive at least at the semifinal. Unfortunately, our goalkeeper Buffon will not play because of an injury. :(
