Hmm. I'd say I started halfway between annoying and savvy. I got to grips with most of the forum mechanics quite quickly, and I'd been following it for a while - but I type how I think, so... :tssk: Yeah, I probably pissed about 7 people off at first.
Nor have I changed much.

I knew nothing about the internet when I joined. It took me a long time to realise that my sarcasm was undetectable online, leading to many failures in communication. I also created a few unfunny troll threads that I’d rather not think about...

It depends in a lot of factors.

I was a moderator in two Portuguese forums.

Sadly there aren't any Portuguese forums about him. And since very few Portuguese players know Rayman (It's also Ecofilmes' fault :pascontent: ), there aren't good reasons to open a forum.

some subforums could the admin open here in several languages, although I do not think it worthwhile

In here for example there are only 2 people who speak Portuguese (Despite of mine being the real/default Portuguese and the other being the Portuguese from Brazil): Me and Kaarj. It would be only worthy if there were way more.

Anyway, it's Ecofilmes' fault too. Since there isn't a UbiSoft Portugal, there is a distributor that is responsible for the UbiSoft's games commercialization and distribution in Portugal, called Ecofilmes. But I cannot stand this distributor: Rayman games never reach in the European release dates, it always arrives delayed (RRR1 for Wii only came to Portuguese shelves 2 weeks after its real release date in Europe, to serve as example) and after 1 month or 2, the games aren't findable anywhere. Really: NOWHERE.

that's unfair :pascontent: , it should be the same date, people have enough chutzpah

You can't guess how upset I got on Wii's release date. I got my Wii in that day, but RRR1 wasn't available yet. One guy in a gaming store told me in the same day that the game distribution was late! :pascontent:

It also happened with Rabbids Go Home. It only came to Portuguese shelves one week later, 2 months later I never more saw it in the stores.
