Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
It might have something interesting. At least that happened with Stacey's Japanese Rayman 2 for Sega Dreamcast.
Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
It has. Most of the pages tell about the prologue of Rayman 2, and the characters are showed almost in 3d rendering.

Then it seems to be nearly equal to the western manuals.
Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
Uhm... not really.
I'm scanning it right now, so there is a little sneak peek:

As you can see, the manual is more colorful than the boring-grey manual which is with the PAL edition of Revolution.

Wow! It is like Japanese manual of Dreamcast's R2!
Could you scan all first and post in a zip file (including the cover and the back part)?
It is not very recommendable to put huge images in the posts.

Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
That's what I wanted to do, I posted that image here only to give you an idea about how the manual looks like.

*Save the image to see it entirely, it's too big!*
Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
That was fast! For the third time, thank you!
The manual is slightly different from the Japanese DC version, but I also like its content.
I might buy a genuine copy for me too one day when I have the opportunity. It is still a little expensive but I guess it is normal since it is imported. They also say the games are in very good state, I presume they are being sell sealed.

Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
Well, my copy is in a very good condition (except for the manual, which is a little worn).
I really recommend it.
The game took 4 weeks to arrive, but it comes from Japan and I live in Italy, so yeah.

Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
I'm still waiting for my N64 Rayman and Rayman 2 Forever to arrive. Next I'll try to get Rayman Advance and Rayman 3.
Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
I'm waiting for Rayman Collector and Rabbids Go Home (PC version).
RRR2 PC version arrived few days ago, really cool, but aaaaaaaaaaall in polish. ._.
Well, the MULTI5 language version is easily findable on the web, so whatever.

Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
I have got the pirated copy of English RRR2 for PC: it is a really bad version of Wii's.
Isn't the PC version of RGH Russia exclusive?

No, there's also a German version, which is MULTI5 language.
Here's a copy, if anyone's interested:

Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
Oh man, usually they like to make the eyes bigger for the Japanese market, but with Ly they just made her eyes round and seemingly smaller. I don't even know what's going on with the rest of her face. What's with the color changes? History shows Japan will enjoy vibrant games more, but changing Ly's clothes from yellow and purple to grey and purples seems backwards. I wonder what was the thought process behind these changes...?Haruka wrote:Some characters colours were changed.
Cutesy? Prepare yourself to see Ly.
Those illustrations are brilliant! I wish those were in any of the manuals that come with the copies I own of the game (all US). Is this concept art done by the original Ancel led team? I don't know if I remember them in early concept art galleries, but I haven't looked through one in a while.RayBlue wrote:As you can see, the manual is more colorful than the boring-grey manual which is with the PAL edition of Revolution.
Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
I presume it was drawn by the Japanese team behind Ubisoft Japan.
I am not able to read Japanese but I think Raylex does.

Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
Hey, I just realised that the illustration in the bottom-left corner actually depicts the Robo-Pirates blowing up the Heart of the World with some sort of a cannon. Look, you can see the Yellow Lums flying in all directions and everything.
Re: Rayman Revolution Japanese Version
I'm amazed you didn't notice that before. The image could be cropped and putted into the Heart of the World article, since it is the only official picture that shows the event.spiraldoor wrote:Hey, I just realised that the illustration in the bottom-left corner actually depicts the Robo-Pirates blowing up the Heart of the World with some sort of a cannon. Well it’s essentially a generic explosion, and the text next to it is a bit on the Japanese side. Took me a minute.Haruka wrote:I'm amazed you didn't notice that before.
