Haruka I wouldn't mind playing with you! It's interesting to have a female give a challenge. I guess it's just that guys aren't used to being beat by girls, but are used to playing against girls are are casuals.

I think there shouldn't be a shame for getting beaten by hardcore gamer girls, now I would find a bit more compelling a hardcore guy getting beaten by a casual girl. But anyway that vision that boys usually have must stop.

I would think the hardcore guy would win against a casual girl. Usually that's the thing for me.

But don't get me wrong, there are some girls that even beat me. :fou:

There is not shame for getting beaten by hardcore girls.

Mostly my friend list in games are guys, and just a few girls, so you can't expect me to know if one girl usually wins or not. We don't look for girls to play with, we just play with whoever we can play against and have a challenge.

Only thing I can say, is play more! Play more against guys. Be proud of being a hardcore gamer girl. Show the boys that girls do play to win as well. That's the only way you can "stop the image". Of course if the guy tries to date you, and isn't interested in PLAYING with you, drop him. Play with us just to play, nothing more.

Btw, you should take the cheating thing as a big compliment.

It is also sad to know there are people that take too much quick conclusions before making sure, by watching the entire walkthrough. Oh well.

- Kids at dA (and some other sites) with a high USI (unwarranted self-importance) level and attention seekers. Well... anyone else in this thread could say the same, methinks. -_-

- People who can't just get over the fact I'm an ace. Asexual, that is. I rarely discuss it, because for most users, a warning under my dA ID is enough to watch their tongue and keep all possible questions for notes.
Also in this category - being asked to draw adult stuff (though my FAQ clearly says I won't do that fhs. Ever.).

- Myself, for the fact I cannot fix computer hardware when needed (yes, my desktop still IS DEAD. Dammit.), and probably will never learn to.

- Lousy internet translators.

@Haruka:

Yeah it's quite sad, but hopefully there are some that do listen. I guess it's just because boys are raised to be "tough".

Same here. Year by year appears even more kids in a website that by law it isn't allowed for minors of 13 to frequent. And they keep ignoring those stuff and registering in dA. Imature. I wonder if they have parental control at home, but I bet that in most cases that doesn't happen.

It's pretty easy to bypass that.

It depends. It isn't quite pleasant to be flooded or harassed by minors' messages, especially if they behave imaturely. I have no choice than reporting those cases.

Haruka is right. If we care of the site we reside on, we won't tolerate any mess on it.

No we shouldn't tolerate that stuff, but I say that it's easy for young people to sign up, right?

Right.
To be honest, I wouldn't care much of user's age, if only they act like sane beings. But the chance is, there's about 5 such beings out of 100...

While we are on the subject of deviantfart I really find it obnoxious when people just flag any comment as spam, regardless of whether it's polite or rude. They made that option to stop SPAM, ie chains, harassment and that, not a simple "hi how ya doin'?" comment. It's just plain rude I makes me wish I could punch people through my screen.

And if you must know, the only comments I really hide are spam, duplicates and flat out harassment. I could hide single emoticon comments made by people that can't even be bothered to post more than that in their own language, but I'm not that much of a butthole.

I usually don't report comments as SPAM, unless it is really abusive.

I use mostly the "Hide Comment" mode.

I just lost the mafia game without a real reason, it wasn't my fault.... and that's exactly the bad part.
I hate it when i'm losing because of someone else, i was Skyscraper by the way.
And now i'm getting less points because of that *russian* idiot.

Of course not, he's gonna top the HoFail, while you've been doing quite good ! I'm actually pissed too by his behaviour.
