I count on everyone to do their best, the record will only last 24 hours but this will be the occasion to do better than the rest of the year: so far, we have only posted about 40% of last year's message count, with only one month and a half left to catch up. In other terms, we're bound to end up with a disappointing performance—actually the very first time we'll ever have done worse than the previous year—but we'll fight till the end!

It's ok, we just have to post 80K messages on that day.
Oh wait, the server would commit suicide way before we reach that number...

Sure, I perfectly remember when it gave up after five minutes of record day. I hadn't even posted a tenth of the messages I had been typing all evening long.

How about one massive general quiz? The user with the most points at the end of the record gets bonus tings.

And instead of one user hosting a season, the user that gets a question right has to do the next question. The questions could be posted with intervals of 5 minutes (well, maybe more) to avoid lack of activity in other topics.

I'm on a holiday from 24th - 31st, oh well, shame I gotta cancel it, but it's gonna be worth it.
Nah, I think I might be able to be online for a few minutes, increases my chances of getting promoted.

Record day probably won't affect new RO ranks in any way, so it's just a day of fun 'n' frolics, and posting as much non-spam shit as possible!
