I didn't see the game before, but it's controls look like... "this would be scary on PS1". They work the same way?

Exactly, sadly Dante was quite easy to defeat, and it's even worse in Croc 2.

Just the Baron Dante fight, or every boss?
To me every boss is easy, just like Baron Dante.

i quite like the Croc games, the first game is the best IMO.
I also played Croc volcanic panic on my mobile, but the controls and the gameplay is even worse than the classical games.
A third Croc game will be great with a trophy or achievement system at the moment.

Sadly, every bosses

But I was mentionning Dante because, come on, he is the final boss, he should have been way harder... Anyway I loved this game. X3

@stan The controls work in the same way for both platforms, but the best ones are in PC.

I absolutely see why. Rotation based controls in a platformer... well, given game's level design, they make sense, but with a D-pad this would be pain.

The problem is that controls in the PS1's D-Pad are extremely "heavy". For example you press "Up" and only 3 seconds later he starts to run at real speed. Then when talking about precise diagonal runnings it is horrible.

Yeah, that's a problem also in Crash 1 and Rayman 2.

Wasn't there a code on the PC when you could play a scrapped "snowboard" like level?

No, I believe you are talking about my beta video. Someone just changed some data in the levels file and he menaged to unlock prototypes.

Oh, because my brother showed me that level, and since it never was finished, at the end you just fell forever.

In a way like game pressed analog stick for you, but in impressively slow and smooth way? Mah boy, this sounds terrible.

Rayman 2 behaves in the same way when playing with the D-Pad.

Hm, this was definitely not the case with RDS.
B2T, I remember playing something involving Croc, but level design was not space consistent (stuff behind the door was another thing than stuff "in" the door), and I got dizzy with it. It was however quite long ago, so I could mess up something.

Rayman 2 of PS1 has the problem solved by playing with an Analog Stick, now Rayman DS hasn't any solution for the diagonal runnings.

Oh, it is true, but I still haven't done anything. I had to do extensive studying to Croc's games before I could edit anything.
