I made a joke about Des's one-smiley post policy, which they kinda didn't like.RayFan9876 wrote:What's all this now?

Stan, why do you have a toilet avatar?
That isn't why you have a toilet avatar is it?stan423321 wrote:I made a joke about Des's one-smiley post policy, which they kinda didn't like.RayFan9876 wrote:What's all this now?

Code: Select all
_level0.affichescore = your final score
_level0.affichelevel = the level you reached
_level0.affichekilled = the amount of enemies you destroyed
scoreFromGameRaymanIO = same as _level0.affichescore so I don't really get why it does that
rayman_fromgame_variable = I have no idea why but it's coded to be the following text string: "raymanio"whooooooooo! thank you so much!!!!Drolpiraat wrote:Rayman vs Cullcut's translation is finished, here it is.

Just run the index.htm you want in your favourite browser. Otherwise, run Intro.swf in Flash Player, that works the same.
Make sure to play till level 10, because the game really becomes fun as it progresses. ^^
There's a little problem though. The flash game is supposed to post your score to a php file (rayman_endgame.php) and since I'm not good at php at all, I can't get it to work. You'll see as I included my horrible attempt at coding in php. XD
*looks at Hunch* If this will be on the portal, it could be great for some sort of "hall of fame" using our forum usernames. That's a bit much for a small flash game though. Still, we should get the PHP file that shows your score and everything working.
Here's some technical info for people who know about PHP and would like to help. *looks at Hunch again* The game posts the following variables to the PHP file:So, if anyone who knows PHP wants to help for this, that'd be great.Code: Select all
_level0.affichescore = your final score _level0.affichelevel = the level you reached _level0.affichekilled = the amount of enemies you destroyed scoreFromGameRaymanIO = same as _level0.affichescore so I don't really get why it does that rayman_fromgame_variable = I have no idea why but it's coded to be the following text string: "raymanio"
I'm going to post the rest of the games (untranslated though, I need a break from translating stuff now) tomorrow... probably.
You need the latest version of flash player and have flash content enabled in your browser (ActiveX in Internet explorer should be enabled, if you're using that).ikke471 wrote:edit: why does it give a black screen?
How are you trying to run it?ikke471 wrote:i only get black screens with some sound effects..... :/
nop it says it's not a right file...Drolpiraat wrote:How are you trying to run it?ikke471 wrote:i only get black screens with some sound effects..... :/
Just try right clicking Intro.swf, selecting Open with... and then Adobe Flash Player. Does that work for you?
Oh my… I remember this Flash game !Drolpiraat wrote:Rayman GBC
i do right click, open with, adobe flash playerDrolpiraat wrote:Ikke, it definitely works with Adobe Flash Player. It's probably installed on your PC, so everything should work. Are you sure you're opening it correctly?
Code: Select all
rayman_fromgame_variable = I have no idea why but it's coded to be the following text string: "raymanio"I think you might have opened the HTM file instead of the SWF file. Open the SWF file and it should work, otherwise there's a problem with your Flash player.ikke471 wrote:i do right click, open with, adobe flash playerDrolpiraat wrote:Ikke, it definitely works with Adobe Flash Player. then it says it is a wrong file (i just updated flash player so that's not the problem for sure)
Ah, that could be right. Thanks.stan423321 wrote:Simple, "board"/whatever supported multiple games.Code: Select all
