Which I mentioned before anyways :D

Who watched the finale? I was expecting gangers not <spoilers>

And, frankly, that oldest question made me laugh, because it was certainly unexpected yet obvious.

Does anyone have any particular advice on getting DVD's? You know, besides the obvious walking into a store and finding them. I want to start from the reboot and work my way up from there.

When you say "Reboot" do you mean from 2005?
It's not actually a reboot, it's a continuation, all the stories from the classic series are still relevant, the modern series can continue from the classic thanks to the "regeneration" aspect of the series.
I believe Amazon would be rife with box-sets for all series, except for the most recent, that has not been released yet.

Awesome!

Also that guy with the red guitar has the same guitar and guitar colour as my brother, a Gibson SG.

Cool! We actually have a red guitar a lot like that - and the name Gibson does strike a match somewhere in my head. I'll check tomorrow to see if my suspicions are right.

DFTBA.com?! The guy's a Nerdfighter! Great!

Also, back to Dr. Who itself, who else was a bit disappointed by this latest season? I loved the stories and so forth, but I really didn't like how they cut the season up into like three or four chunks of five episodes per bit spread out over a year. I'd rather have one Christmas episode, and then a whole line-up of episodes as opposed to two episodes a bit and then a big long wait for the next chunk.

Also I was a bit disappointed about the amount of episodes - because almost all of them were two-parters this time, the amount of stories was less, which was a bit of a shame.
For the rest, Dr. Who still rocks of course. :P

DFTBA!

They split the series into two parts... eps 1-7 and 8-13.
I liked the complex story of the series, but considering this is a family show, it doesn't work.
Though we did find out who River Song is at last, and I loved the Doctors Wife episode, it really just showed how iconic the TARDIS is to Doctor Who.

I miss my old Laser Screwdriver, the trigger broke...

I saw it one the news at my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. I don't see why it's bad, but why only 82 minutes?

I don't think it works, Doctor Who is a family TV program, and, it's British, it's Britishness is one of it's defining factors, I just don't want a movie to jeopardise the charm and unique flair that Doctor Who has.
No offence to any other cultures, but Doctor Who is a British icon.

Aptly put, my lad, aptly put.
However, if the Doctor Who film is a fail, we can just shun it with our collective fandom power.

That's Tennant and Smith, right? Or is it Tennant and that guy before him (sorry, fans, his name slipped my mind)? Tennant is easily my favourite Doctor.

Yeah I love Doctor Who too! Tennant was my favorite Doctor and I was pretty sad when he had to go.

Does anybody here like River Song? I don't like her character and attitude at all. I wish they would just give her character a brutal ending. Sadly, we already know she gets a happy one. :(

I'll list 'em:
1. William Hartnell
2. Patrick Troughton
3, Jon Pertwee
4. Tom Baker
5. Peter Davidson
6. Colin Baker
7. Sylvester McCoy
8. Paul McGann
9. Christopher Eccleston
10. David Tennant
11. Matt Smith

I like River Song, she's a complex character, and whilst some may revile her, I find her story to be quite interesting.
