And about people who never had a GC and don't want to have two separated consoles? I give valour to my Wii for its retrocompactibility, because when in 2005 I was wanting a GC and I started to listen that Wii could play GC games, I totally discarded GC.

And people who never had a Megadrive ? :3
It's sad, but GC is an old console now. It will be soon a console from the generation before what we will call the old-generation (360-PS3-Wii). So if people wanted to buy "GC's classic games" (because nothing come on GC now, there are only old games :/), they will have, one day or another, to buy a GC. Like any other console. Retro-compatibility can't be eternal.
Yes, it's sad. I grew up myself with a GC (after a N64), and it's a little bit difficult to admit that it's an ancient console, from the years 2000, when the iPhone didn't exist, but it's like that. :/
Nintendo doen't sell any GC game anymore, and neither GC controllers. On the Wii's release in 2006, retro-compatibility was a great argument, because GC games were recents and still selt (hey, there was Twilight Princess :p). But now ? People who wants to play GC games are already a GC, or want to play games that became classics (Wind Waker, Paper Mario 2, Baten Kaitos, etc…). The Wii is not anymore a GC+. The console has its own games, that Nintendo wants to sell.
GC is past. I agree retro-compatibility is a great feature, but people who want
now to discover GC games are really, really few.

I love that game. It's in my top three GC games!
I'm listing only exclusive titles. My top three being:
1. Super Mario Sunshine
2. Kirby Air Ride
3. F-Zero GX
When my family went to Cuba for two weeks, my brother plugged the Gamecube into an outlet, unaware of the voltage difference. The GameCube's fine but he fried the power cable.

Man I love KIRBY!!!!
Air Ride is the best in the series
but I don't think it'll beat Kirby's Adventure WII
I know Nintendo's moves haven't been desirable lately but I guess they're planning something big for Novemeber
*coughs* (Skyward Sowrd and Super Mario 3D Land on 18th)
I they really wanted to apologize, these are the two games to watch out for

My favourite Kirby game ties between Air Ride and Amazing Mirror.

This sentence doesn't make any sense.
And did you say Super Mario Land 3D? My god that sounds awesome!

Yes it does... somewhere.
Basically, Kirby's Adventure Wii hasn't been released yet.
With unreleased games (that look epic) I don't slag them off, I always say they have a chance at being my favourite so until it comes out, Kirby Air Ride rules!!!!
I'm getting Amazing Mirror as a 3ds ambassador! Is it that good?

Man, rumours suck.
Especially for video games. Like those rumours you get with new Mario 3D games e.g. Sonic appearing in a Green Hill Galaxy in Galaxy 2 AND Super Mario 3D Land was rumoured to include Sonic.
Just by asking a few questions you can tell it's fake like "How'd he get there in the first place?"
When I found out Super Mario 3ds (now 3D Land) was getting a rename I heard some great rumours:
Super Mario Dimensions
a few others but the best one was definitely (by some dude on ONM) ... A Super Mario Tail!!!

The SMG2 joke/rumour actually made sense in context. Some people viewed Colors as Sonic's equivalent of SMG; meanwhile, Rock Mario and Fire Yoshi seem like stuff that could qualify in "sonic in SMG" too.
Again, large font is just to mess up the frontpage.

Anybody who has Zelda: The Four Swords Anniversary Edition. Could we all please review it.
They've made some great improvements to this game (even though I never played the original) but it's incredibly fun to play together and FREE so good on you Nintendo 90%

I'm no liable source of information for your location neo, but I don't recall boxes being one of the places the Wii is sold, period. You can buy Wiis that come in a box, but you can't ship a Wii
to a box if you know what I mean.

I think eBay is the only place now where you can find previous editions of Wii.

Another place you can do this is Poland. Wii was never popular here, as there are no "casual" gamers in Poland (there are hardcores, middlegrounds and... pirates) and 200€ is still considered major expense here.

Go into my room and see for yourself:
Mario plush toys, Mario chess, a Mario poster, game guides from Nintendo games, my GameBoy Advance and 3DS, old toys, DS applications. And much much more. A Wii, a GameCube, a SNES emulator on my PC with Mario, Metroid and Zelda games, music on my YouTube channel from Nintendo games, almost every single game for the Wii and GameCube made by Nintendo, Nintendo candy, and probably a lot more that I can't think of right now.
Still, Rayman is also a huge part of my memories. I have a Rabbid Wii remote charger!

I think I saw one when I went to France, but I decided to take a Rabbid plush as a souvenir.

What is wrong with the new Wii? Besides the fact that it can't play GC games it there is nothing different then a improved design.

The design changes are very few. But I think the Wii was prettier when it had the original vertical stand.
