Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I'm watching right now (however I don't have a Twitch account in order to use the chat). Is it just me or the stream is lagging?
Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I'm watching it too.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I was able to watch a little bit of the stream and then keep it in the background while I was doing other things. At times the game was freezing or running somewhat slow, I don't know what happened. Maybe one of these days I'll create a Twitch account.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I also had lag at times and freezing (though the latter was probably of my internet connection randomly cutting off). I assume that R4Y most likely was using an emulator to play Revolution, which unless the computer is strong enough won't run at full capacity.
EIther way, it was fun watching. Looking forward to the next time

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I couldn't make the stream because it started at too late of a time for me (at midnight), but I might watch it later too.
Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I run the game through an emulator. Possibly be that my laptop is not all that great at keeping games going smoothly 100%, especially games that have really amazing graphics. I believe it tries its best, nonetheless. On multiple occasions, I tend to have another window open and that is what causes the game to lag drastically, I assume. Keeping open windows closed or at least minimized helps very much.Elite Piranha wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 7:30 am I was able to watch a little bit of the stream and then keep it in the background while I was doing other things. That is correct. The Jonster wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 8:06 amI assume that R4Y most likely was using an emulator to play Revolution, which unless the computer is strong enough won't run at full capacity.
I will make another livestream today (May 30th 2020), sometime in the evening or night, and continue from where I left off in Rayman Revolution. Now considering that I am almost finished with the game, I decided to take it upon myself to finish Rayman Revolution and then start the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 afterwards, therefore making it one whole session with two games being played one after the other. Like I said before, this is a casual playthrough, not a speedrun since I am not good enough to be a speedrunner (in my eyes anyway). Also again, whoever can make it, cheers to that.
Currently, I am thinking of something that could make my playthrough more interesting. But no ideas sprung to mind (at the moment...).
Big 'shout outs' to those who managed to appear and get a watch, by the way. Much love.

Yeah, that was fun! Foutch almost got you there.
Had to go to bed before the end because it was getting late, 5 AM or something. As for tonight, I'm meeting some friends but I'll join the stream if I don't get back home too late.

I think PCSX2 might be just slowing down at times, at least that's how it seems.
I recall you missing one Lum on the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, then having to replay the entire level.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I noticed the slowdowns too but they were quite rare so it wasn't too annoying.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
Yeah I wasn’t bothered by that personally, I got more bothered by getting cut off at times due to my crappy internet.

I will be sure to watch tonight’s stream when I’m free.
The same thing happened on the Prison Ship too!Steo wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 3:09 pm I recall you missing one Lum on the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, then having to replay the entire level.![]()
I will be sure to watch tonight’s stream when I’m free.

I am preparing to livestream. Click on the link below to go to my Twitch channel and wait there until I get everything looking correct for the stream to start off. Anyone who will be joining, I wish you all a good time and of course, cheers.R4Y_ANC3L wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 9:28 amI will make another livestream today (May 30th 2020), sometime in the evening or night, and continue from where I left off in Rayman Revolution. Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I remember you saying you were gonna play either N64 or Dreamcast version of R2 when you stopped last night, I will take pleasure in utilising my time watching this stream the whole way through. It's time well spent anyways

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I only popped by to say hello last night but it was nice to watch the stream for a few minutes and chat with everyone. Till next time!
Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I plan to continue from where I left off in the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 The Great Escape.
The livestream starts on Friday, 5th June 2020. Depending on how things are, it is possible for me to start the stream early in the afternoon close to either 5:00 or 6:00. If things don't look the way I want and things are eventful, I will start in the night as usual. Cheers to whoever can drop by.
And again as usual, Much love to those who decided to use their time (or waste their time lol) coming to the past stream.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I'm home now, so I'm game to watching later.
Re: Rayman streaming 📺
I apologize for the lateness. There were much distractions which caused a delay in the streaming start time. It will continue on the 6th of June. This time I will make an effort to stream this playthrough. I promise you that. Sorry for the inconvenience. I did not mean for that to happen. Something caught my attention.R4Y_ANC3L wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 7:09 pm I plan to continue from where I left off in the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 The Great Escape.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺
No problem, I would have missed it yesterday due to tiredness. I'll try watch it later for a bit.
