Good point about the Event Log. I'm surprised it's not talked about more often, since it sounds like it would provide a lot of insights in a lot of these types of cases…

I don't have any logs in the game folders or in gog folders

ok looks like i fixed my problem when i searched ray2fix on google i got the mod here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Rayma ... eat_Escape but they gave that link: https://github.com/icup321/Ray2Fix/releases/tag/v1.2.1 so they gave a version that cause the crash (now they give the good link)

Looks like version 1.3.0 fixed that, PCGamingWiki should probably use this link instead.

PCGamingWiki updated the link like 2 days ago and i download the mod 1 week ago so they took time to update the link of the mod for the 1.3.0

I'm glad you got it sorted, but for the record, I believe deton was talking about the Event Viewer in Windows, not log files in any folder

I didn't knew the event viewer i will try to remember this it can be a good thing if one day i have another problem like that

I have the retail copy of the game and I know ray2fix was updated but was not sure if it works on the retail version

Retail is not supported.
