Oh yeah, I watched part of that, and I remember noticing that Raymandicoot was picking the letters in order in the last part of Slick Slopes, while it's actually not required. That seemed weird to me because I couldn't think of any way to make that work in Designer. Anyway, he still beat the level in time, so I guess it's fine after all.

Yes, and they're impressively good at it!

As for the recent individual levels, it clearly feels like we're getting closer to a new world record. Of course it will a lot of tries, but R1 runners have been improving a lot lately and it's just a matter of time before they get everything right in one go.

Yeah, the RetroArch emulator eventually got banned and now kronkie's lost all of his individual level records and has to get them again on Duckstation.

RetroArch? How come?

It apparently runs slightly too fast, because of a higher-than-normal frame rate.

Well, despite making for a rather long run, it's a pretty cool concept. I like how practicing a little bit of all three games goes a long way towards getting you a high ranking, while it's much harder for a single game due to most people specializing in just one.
