Is that a Spyglass Pirate soundbite in the end? Btw, I like the main theme that was posted before.
Damn! Good ear. It is indeed a soundbite from that dude.
Don't you worry! The Main Theme has not gone anywhere It is pretty great, the composer for the fan game has done an incredible job so far. There are a lot of tracks I havent shared yet that are all top notch.

I forgot to post it
But here it is. I hope to see you all in 2022!
Brand new trailer:
Features a brand new look at some unseen levels, bossfights etc. And also previews a new villain who reigns over the Crafted Beach World.
Enjoy!

What is that teleporting blue guy? Also, I like how it says "(hopefully)" in small letters .

Looking good! Some sections remind me a lot of the Game Boy Color version.

Thank you very much everyone!
Best of luck with that late 2022 release!
Thank you, I'm going to try my absolute hardest. I really want to be working on new projects next year so gotta finish this one up before that.

Blue guy is a Robot Boss Fight, you'll need to get past him in order to continue the journey. He's a fun boss and there's a bit of inspo from the R2 PS1 henchman fights in there. And yes, hopefully this year... Just in case I somehow don't manage it.

Thank you very much! I'm using this to practice my pixel art, I think its getting better as I go, so I appreciate that

I'm sure you will over the coming weeks/months

I love the additions to the PS1 version so I can only approve.

Here we go, another couple of updates that I've posted in the past week or so. Firstly, we have a "Story Preview" screenshot.
Polokus, the creator of the world, lives just above it in a place called The Dreamer's Boundary. A place where he can watch over his creation in peace, keeping it safe from Nightmares.
Artwork by PeppermintBubble
Secondly...
A preview of a level set in the Crafted Beach world that has Rayman exploring shipwrecked Pirate Ships. He'll need to avoid deadly enemies, ruthless sentries and lightning clouds to escape.
I hope you like these new updates. The game is still on track to release this year and I'm currently working out whether or not to do a second demo for SAGE 2022.
Thanks all

It looks awesome! Maybe there will be zombie pirates in the shipwrecks?

It's nice to hear more about the backstory. Just curious though, is that a giant pencil on the shipwreck?

That's actually a really cool idea there wont be Zombie Pirates however there will be some rusty non-pirate enemies running about.

Yep that is a pencil, these ships crashed right into the Crafted Beach, so you might see some arts & crafts details around as you explore!

Makes perfect sense then! Hope to see more of the other environments too.

Hey, I've been posting like crazy! (Not really but here's another cool thing)
Another level showcase! This time it is of "The Monsoon" a level that has appeared in a couple of the trailers now. I expect you can get the idea of what it's about from the name
Check out the video! As always I'm happy to answer any questions - sorry if I reply slowly

Really cool stuff, I've always considered rising water a key staple of Rayman games. I also like how you've included the thorny liana from Rayman Junior.

Does anyone have any questions about the project at all? Can be anything really. I'm considering putting together a Q&A video if there are enough questions
If not, no worries! Development is progressing nightly - I'm still on track to hit my release goal as well. So that's good

Which official games will The Dreamer's Boundary draw inspiration from?
